He had no reason not to assume it was a bo1 and the tournament didn't provide tournament a way for the players to contact each other. |

The reason to assume it was not a Bo1 is because most tournaments aren't Bo1. Especially not an invite only qualifier to a major tournament. |

Why does Nony do this!?
as a fellow compulsive introvert, i can kind of relate you lose, you're mad, you might have underlying emotional problems anyways, you just want to be alone for a bit afterwards the act of having to play the social game and explain why you suddenly want to go in hiding is even more stressful, so you just bail and go do something else while you chill out manners doesn't really come into it, nor does what other people actually think about your behavior, but the intent isn't really rudeness
sorry but that's just plain ignorant. It's like saying just because you're a certain zodiac sign, you HAVE to act this way because you're that sign. He got mad and quit. End of story. And extrovert can experience this. It's called being a human. |

They provided contact information for every player (other than PiG) from both the EU and "NA" brackets as well as the rules a week before the tournament began |

It was sent to all the team managers; so if you didn't get it forwarded to you it was your manager's fault >< That sucks I guess Maybe they got bumblebee's email wrongLast edit: 2012-10-09 11:52:53 |

what are they gonna do about it? i didnt ask for this. it was only after i decided to play it and put effort into playing it that they offered to replace me.
if i signed up for this tournament i would be thinking very differently about the rules. you can find out how a tournament is gonna go when you sign up and either agree or not. but to invite someone to a tournament and not tell them anything about it is fucked up. invite me to the tournament, give me the job of scheduling and managing all my own matches, and then when they hear im having a problem scheduling my match, replace me. yeah yeah |

Not like your career is getting any better, how about put some *real* effort of your own into it. Nobody else seems to be having these problems.

| Honestly, just looking at the bracket it's not really clear that it's not a BO1. But I would have hoped that someone would have told people actually playing in the tournament otherwise... |

Look, this is a fanclub, and probably not the right place to post this, but I can't think of anywhere else for it to go.
Nothing you're saying is making much sense to me Nony. They invited you to a tournament and sent the information to your manager - all of it. Scarlett has confirmed here that she got the rules, the maps, everything. Unless they got Bumblebee's email wrong or something silly (which I don't think they did as I believe Nazgul said the manager received the necessary info) there is nobody to blame here but you or your manager.
If you don't want to manage your own matches or schedule them, don't play in the tournament.
That being said, I hope everything is okay. I haven't been here very long, but most of the time you seem to be a logical and smart person who is deliberate and thinks things through, and these recent outbursts seem pretty out of character. |

This is exactly how I feel about this situation. Nony, you're well respected for being strong in character and personality, but this is suprising. |

Just hearing that makes me sad, how can he not "try", why is he playing for to "not try"?
I feel this is an insult to all the people that tries to hard to get the status he is at.

| I mean no disrespect, but if you don't think SC2 is your career and are not trying, perhaps the logical move would be to exit gracefully, not go out in a burst of flames? Up until recently I think most people saw you as just a chill guy who used to be the best and was facing some personal trouble currently, but all this does is mar your legacy. That said Major posting here was maybe not the best place to post so your reaction to him is probably justified, to fans, not so much :/. Hope you work through whatever is ailing you and pull through in whatever you want to do in the future! |
