| I hope something gets setup for progamers so they dont have to pay any (or a big part of) the entry fee. Big prize pool but that entry fee is a turnoff to many progamers i would assume. Would be a shame to not see a ton of good players fight for that large amount of money. And im sure having progamers there would attract more regular lan nerds too. |

There was one private css compo hosted by hellfragger. But the Hellfragger league playoff for css was hosted by tg, and the pricemoney on there behalf haven't been paid out yet, and from what I know, it wont be either. |

Do you have a source for that Roflhaxx? I think roddern played in the compo, so I guess he knows better than you(unless you are a TG - official or something).

They did pay out in cheap hardware, but the players didn't want anything to do with that. I hope they pay out, but I have learned by now that esport is a shady business, so I don't expect anything.
Nevertheless, I hope and think it will be a great tournament for sc2, looks like they take it more serious. Just need to lower the entry fee. |
