Y: Meeting [JulyZerg] in the quarterfinals today, I felt like I had to win from a pride standpoint. I really concentrated today. I didn't think I would win 2-0 but I'm very happy I did.
Q: About today's match?
Y: I didn't feel confident about winning on Pellenor Ever, which was the map for the 3rd game. So I felt very strongly that I had to win 2-0. My teammates, like [Chojja], [[Min][Gu]], and [Umbrella[S.G]] helped me to prepare alot.
Because Bifrost has so many paths and is a tricky map, my strategy was to play a very conventional game. But I think my opponent realized the same thing and had the same strategy. It seemed to me that [JulyZerg] also prepared alot for this match.
Q: You initiated the final game-deciding mutalisk battle.
Y: Because my opponent's upgrades were faster than mine, I felt like if I waited even longer I would fall behind. And I was confident that I had more mutalisks. That is why I even brought my overlords to take the victory.
Q: [After Boxer interrupted the interview to joke with Yellow] The psychological battle seems to have already started today [for the next match with Boxer].
Y: I became inured to his psychological game from such a long time ago that now I have no reaction to it whatsoever. *Laugh* I'm completely used to it.
Q: The schedule has already been set for the semifinal matches.
Y: The first match on Pellenor is the big problem. Because it's a map that so strongly favors Terran, if I can win the first match I think I will finally be able to get revenge this time. Although Boxer is an incredibly strategic player, on the other hand I think I've developed a certain immunity to his strategies now. In the end, I think it's a fight of mental force.
Q: It's been 4 tournaments since you've met Boxer in the seminfinals.
Y: I'm excited because it's been a long while. I've been through hard times now for a long time, so I don't plan to go away so easily with this chance. I think it's an even better opportunity since my semifinals opponent is [Boxer]. I will do my best.
