Ok guys my wish has been granted and now I will be able to fufill one of the final requests of my best friends to play through the Mass Effect games. However I need to know is the Digital Delux edition worth it? Is the extra stuff you get worth it? Since it is half off the soundtrack is so appealing since I love listtening to epic orchestral pieces. What would you advise? Also I want to go ino the game industry, what does the documentary show, is it just an overview like what came with StarCraft 2 or does it show them getting their hands dirty, so to speak, in 3DS Max and doing some advanced poly moddeling and UVW mapping?
Thx guys. |

| Both ME1 & 2 are great games. Definitely check them out if you haven't had a chance to before. |

The items in the Digital Deluxe are mostly for collectors I'd assume. If you get the Firepower pack DLC and the Normal version, the weapons are much better than what the Digital Deluxe offers.
Sound track isn't too decent as it firstly doesn't include the Lower Afterlife music and secondly... well quite a few tracks are missing.
I have not watched the documentary, after hearing the BioWare team spout bullshit about every game ever, I have no interest in listening to what they have to say about Mass Effect 2. |

| The documentary is on youtube, and I'd recommend Beethoven if you're interested is epic orchestral music. |

| What exactly does the "digital Deluxe" version add to ME2? If it's just a digital copy of a single comic issue, it's very hard to justify the extra 10 bucks imo. |

| Universe Sandbox is on sale 10 percent off, it was total of 8USD and I bought it and absolutely love it, you get to sail around through the visible universe and look at all data on size speeds and honestly basically anything I can think of about planets, stars, orbit info, galaxies, and even meteor's. You can also make your own solar system etc and also blow up planets and interact with the existing objects. I don't think I can post all the info that well but check it out on Steam, its super cheap and very very entertaining/educational! :D (also bought Amnesia:the dark descent after having watched a Let's Play on YouTube it isn't on sale anymore so it was 20USD but still well worth it, many nightmares to come ^^). |

Some in-game stuff, music and a comic. The steam page store has all info on it. I don't think its really worth the extra money, but if you really want it go for it. Got both ME and ME2 today. |

| Looks like its Crysis today. Anyone know what other big EA titles can we expect to see on Saturday and Sunday? I'm guessing two of; Battlefield, Medal of Honor, FIFA and Command & Conquer. |

| I agree Crysis 1's single player was quite good. I don't actually know anything about Crysis Warhead though, is 5$ worth it if i'm only planning on playing single player? |

| Crysis 1 and Warhead both have excellent single player Campaigns. Crysis 1 kind of poops its pants 3/4 of the way through (the last few levels are TERRIBLE) but up until that point is excellent. Crysis Warhead I remember slightly less about but is also very good, and iirc I think it stays consistently good throughout the game (But as a stand alone expansion it is shorter than Crysis 1). They are two of the best single player FPSs of the last few years in my book, I highly recommend them. |

CRYSIS, not crisis
Crysis I can recommend as a good single player experience for anyone that can buy it now but not when this game came out as it was the absolute powerwhore. Last edit: 2011-05-07 04:32:41 |

Crysis is fun when you're fucking human-enemies. When you start fighting Aliens, it gets dull and boring. |

Believe me - it still is. No consumer system can run it at 60+ fps at HD resolution on max settings, let alone 2560x1600/1440 |
