grubby is amazing
my first interest in rts was WC3, and i got into the scene. grubby was always my favorite player. he played orc when it sucked and didn't really complain, and fought through while still winning tourneys.
he's also so intelligent in interviews, it's amazing. he is able to communicate his thoughts so clearly and English isn't even his first language. if there was one person who would be the face of esports, it would be grubby.

I don't normally sign up for fan clubs but I was watching Grubby's stream yesterday and I don't recall being this impressed by any protoss player streaming his ladder games. There is of course the excellent micro that you'd expect from a top WC3 player and that makes 3 gate blink stalker and 4 gate work where others would fail, but he also has excellent game sense and his macro and expansion timing seem pretty strong as well.
So definitely sign me up, I'm a big fan. |

| Man this guy was my wc3 hero for years.. I remember the scene not being as big in wc3 where you could watch live streams (or at least I didn't know about any) but I would download grubbys replays and make an afternoon of watching all his tournament final matches. Brings back awesome memories, especially the heart breaks vs Moon. I really hope he becomes a top player in the SC2 scene, nobody deserves it more than this guy! |
