Thought it would be interesting to draw some comparisons between Pokémon Gym Leaders and Starcraft Professionals. If this is inappropriate for Starcraft 2 General then please move somewhere else
Spearow Level 15 Farfetch'd Level 16 Pidgeotto Level 18 Dan seems like he'd be a bird keeper if he was in Pokémon and for good reason, Artosis loves the hit and run attack that Flying Pokémon would allow.
Gloom Level 28 Weepinbell Level 28 Tangela Level 29 Victreebell Level 30 Now this is where the going gets tough, Morrow the very cute loveable Swede has an array of tough plants to defeat you!
Magneton Level 33 Electabuzz Level 36 Electrode Level 37 The Warship lies in wait to shock you into certain death. Strelok is really amped up for destruction.
Onix Level 38 Metapod Level 39 Snorlax Level 40 Jeffrey Sjow is well known for his lack of speed when it comes to the game but by jove does he pack a punch. Watch out for that Snorlax
Magmar Level 41 Chansey Level 43 Arcanine Level 45 WhiteRA uses Fire Pokémon to mirror his Colossi use, but because he's such a friendly guy he also has a Chansey
Hypno Level 48 Kobold Level 49 Golbat Level 49 Mr Mime Level 49 Gengar Level 53 The true villain of the Starcraft Scene (lool jk). The cynical Brit uses a vast array of deadly and evil Pokémon stolen by his Team Rocket Cronies (Husky and HD) to confront Adventurers who wish to challenge the Elite 4.
Awesome!!!! I can totally see every one! Well Done OP!
One more comparison:
Professor Oak = Day[9]!!!!!!! He's super helpful for noobs, gives great advice later in the game and knows all three races like an expert, so he gets squirtle, charmander and bulbasaur!!!
Also, BW's Proleague and SC2's GSTL are basically in the format of Pokemon battles. Actually, describing them as Pokemon battles is the best description I've heard as of yet.

Agreed. Day[9] has such an understanding of SC2 and so likable he'd be the perfect person to play the Professor.

If only there was a guinea pig Pokémon...
Actually Artosis almost sounds like an evolution of a Bird Pokemon or just a Bird Pokemon in general.
