Have some respect for idra guys he was the first and only pro to support Naniwa on twitter after the match.
idrajit Greg Fields dont have meaningless matches if you want players to take them seriously.

He's definitely not the only pro player that has supported Naniwa in this issue. Idra still deserves respect for his comment.
Gomtv's decision was ridiculous. I have also send an email to gom expressing my dissatisfaction in their handling of this issue. |

| What I would appreciate is if Sen or at least IdrA refused to play in Code S because of this decision. Can you imagine if IdrA was asked to play in the third game in a Bo3 after being 2-0d? He didn't even play in MLG -_-. |

If IdrA was in Naniwa shoes during Blizzcup, he would have leaved the studio even if GOMTV was telling "NO! PLAY!"... and then, people would be laughing at it... Koreans included. |

Not the only. Basically all the foreigner pros agree that he didn't deserve the shitstorm and SPECIALLY didn't deserve the ban. |

2 months ago Idra did the exact same thing as Naniwa just much worse. In the TL open Idra vs Nerchio. Idra lost the first map he then refused to play the 2nd map.
And now GomTV ban Naniwa that won and earned the spot from the MLG exchange program just like DRG and MMA did. and then give it to Idra that did the same thing just much worse.
lol the goddam irony.

Naniwa,
I used to really hate you and your attitude back in the beta, up to a point where I wished you'd just disappear from esports.
So I can really appreciate the effort you've put into your attitude improvements in the last ~ year and you've actually became one of my favorite players. Some people say you deserved that punishment for being bm, but I disagree. I can see you improving (both skill and attitude) tournament after tournament and I believe you will continue in the future.
While what you did was wrong, it was no more wrong than placing nexuses or spamming MULEs in opponents face, so GOM actions were completely off here.
To support you in this situation I'm cancelling my premium with GOM and emailing them a 'feedback'.
Keep improving! |

| I actually think you deserved this punishment Naniwa. I hope it humbles you and you can learn and become a greater player and person that I think you are capable of becoming!! Keep you head up! |

I also just send a letter to support@gomtv.net. Where I expressed my feelings about this incident.
Not only about Naniwa getting banned for nothing but also giving 2 free code S spot to players that didnt even win it or earn it.
I hope many will do the same if they truly loves this sport and want to see it grow as up in a professional manner |

Naniwa,
I rly hated what u did yesterday, when u not only forfeited the match but did it in the most stupid and unmannered way someone can do it. But i also think ur code S spot beeing revoked is a little too much punishment mb a fee or sth would be better. I hope u dont get urself pulled down by this and instead train even harder to show them ur true skill ! Anyway i hope u learned ur lesson and dont blindly rage on the overreaction from GOM.
Gl in everything u try in the future |

Did he deserve to lose his seed of GSL S? I don't think so. It's the hardest tournament of all time and in the world; that is exactly what NaNiwa wants to play against and at. But yes, there is positive things about everything as well, it's a valuable lesson as said.
But luckily for progamers there is a lot of other tournaments and that was only for one season Nani fighting! |

It was clearly not proportional. He didn't deserve this punishment. He deserved some punishment. |

I wonder how angry Naniwa is about this.
I also wonder if he'll be able to turn that rage into success at the Code A qualifiers. He's not banned so he can try to qualify for Code A for Season 1.
I can think of no better storyline than if he gets so motivated that he qualifies the Korean way and then dominates his way into Code S. |

That is why both of them (Nani and Idra) are my favourite players. They don't lose time with nonsense and go for the kill.
Nani has all my support, and I won't be signing with GSL this year.

GOM's explanation for why they kicked him out?
He broke the following rule (I'm paraphrasing) : Players should not act abusively towards their opponents or the audience.
Really? Naniwa acted ABUSIVELY?
What a fucking joke. I understand that they're pissed and butthurt, but according to their own rules they don't have a justification for kicking him out, He did not act abusively, rofl. They're just doing it because they want him out. People who are mad about Naniwa not acting proffessional should take a good look at GOM.Last edit: 2011-12-14 23:42:34 |
