One question though, how do these 'mod files' work? Basically what I need to know is, will it affect my install/normalgame in any way?

Nice little side benefit(?) is that you don't have to logon to battle.net when loading these maps. Might be nice for dirty thieving pirates.

Do you think you'll go on to make all of the campaigns from BW once this project is finished? I really hope so, because so far I've enjoyed this more than the main SC2 campaign by a longshot.

Edit: WOW. The production values on this are surprisingly solid. Voiceover, music and scripting are intact, and they even have those classic briefing segments.

Like the 3rd to last one I think (first time you use Duke), you're instantly supply blocked, the control tower left over is bugged, and your CC is far from optimal on the mineral placements. It's nostalgic, though. =)

EDIT: Ok, I just finished the tutorial and started "Wasteland..." and in the words of Akara, this campaign may have yet restored my faith in humanity. Wonderful, wonderful production values - the sense of nostalgia was there from the introduction. Brilliant!

I am so excited :D. So, so, so, so, so cool! EDIT: Ok, I just finished the tutorial and started "Wasteland..." and in the words of Akara, this campaign may have yet restored my faith in humanity. This deserves Front-Page treatment - even if only for a day.

Definitely needs to be moved to the SC2 general forum. I'm sure other people will find this awesome.
