boxer if you're reading this, i just wanted to say there is no reason for you to ever consider retirement based on your performance based on factual data.
- you've beaten millstephano, and by TL power ranks, he's the #1 foreigner (at a high point since winning ipl 3) i honestly had you losing to stephano in a one sided game.
- went 3-4 vs idra (winning one of the recent IEM)
- beaten sase
honestly i'm not much of a fan of you, but considering the fact you're beating some of these really top names and getting close victories to people who are at the top shows you're close to being on par and legitimate competition. some of these foreigners will give a leg and an arm to even get near the top of the bracket that you got to. never count yourself out if you surrounded yourself by people who are taking victories from the top of the top like nestea, cause that will eventually rub off of on you.Last edit: 2011-10-17 13:10:19 |

| Boxer's day 3 is what I'll remember most about MLG Orlando. After his poor pool play results I was ready to accept that Boxer's days as a high level competitor were over. I was moved by seeing that picture of Boxer practicing alone late at night, but I tempered myself because I was afraid all of Boxer's hard work would be for nothing. Then I wake up to see that boxer had beaten Stephano. Then I saw him beat Sase. Then I saw him take Idra, who had easily crushed him the day before, all the way to game 7 despite starting out with the extended series disadvantage. It reminded me why I love Starcraft so much. Seeing this 'old man' defeat younger, faster, more talented players through sheer fighting spirit and passion for the game is something I'll never forget. |

Reading this fanclub and watching him almost made me cry  anyone who doesn't support boxer to the full should be ashamed of themselves, who cares if he played kind of kookie against idra, he played to idra's weaknesses, what do you expect. I wouldn't try to out micro marineking/grubby/sase/thorzain because that is one of their strengths. knowing strengths/weaknesses is the mark of a great player.
And Boxer is the greatest. |
