Congratulations for getting your padawan a GSL championship:D the passion of Boxer cannot be stopped! Slayers first GSL title, and not a day too early.
There has been no player who has had nearly the impact on Esports as Slayers Boxer. During a time when hard-core gamers were looked down upon as "PC bums" and Terran was a vastly underpowered race, this man was key to making pro-gaming a viable career and ushered in the start of the Terran renaissance. His successful gaming career made him the emperor, but it is what he did beyond this that makes him stand out from other dominant players such as Nada, Savior or Flash. This man was instrumental in the creation of the Orion team, SK Telecom T1 (the most successful team in BW, sorry KT fans), Airforce Ace team, and now in SC2, the creation of Slayers (arguably the most successful team so far in SC2). His eye for talent has been vindicated several times, producing BW greats such as iloveoov, fantasy, and in SC2, MMA. His work ethic and character stand in stark contrast to his peers. This is a man who stayed behind after everyone left at MLG to continue practicing. This is a man who will not give up even if there is only a "1% chance of victory". This is a man whose peak performance was a decade ago, yet despite his injuries and his age, continues to play and fight. Slayers Boxer is not only just a bonjwa, he is the emperor, and the greatest Esports icon.
