GIGABYTE StarsWar Killer is the sixth StarsWar tournament running by Chinese eSports organization XMA(www.xmacn.com). We held the first offline StarCraft II(beta phase) event StarsWar Reborn in April, 2010. IdrA, Artosis and Tasteless came to Shanghai and were presented as Team USA, and Check, Susiria, and EvE presented as Team Korea. This great event is brought to you by Gigabyte!
Established in 1986, its major customers include custom boutique PC manufacturers such as Alienware and Falcon Northwest. Google recently revealed they use GIGABYTE motherboards in the custom servers. GIGABYTE is considered a Tier 1 motherboard manufacturer (based on units sold) along with MSI, ECS and Asus. They shipped approximately 19 million motherboards in 2008 (16 million of them branded). GIGABYTE also sponsors Chinese notable eSports team WE and the former StarsWar series.

Looks like a really awesome tournament, looking forward to some great games. I imagine with all of the international players, there will be an English cast for the finals in Shanghai. Any word on who'll be casting it?

Hi, It says that semi finals and finals will be played live in Shanghai. What about the other rounds ? I live in Shanghai and would love to see the Emperor (Nada or White Ra would be cool too)

Other rounds are played online. But if White-Ra or Boxer make it to the semi's you will be able to see them play live!

So at first I was thinking "CQ#3" must be some sick-ass Chinese player that I've never heard of, to be in a tournament with these guys. Then I saw the the rest of the CQs and realized I'm an idiot.

I really enjoyed the first StarsWar during the beta.
This seems to an ongoing issue at a lot of events, but I hope the players aren't able to hear the commentators, as that was a big issue at their first event.

Some of these guys are pretty sick, a couple are former BW players, and one was a WC3 pro. Plus Loner is sick good!
