Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower, Alien Ant Farm's Smooth Criminal (although I still also really enjoy MJs version), Dexy's Midnight Runner's Jackie Wilson Said (I was only familiar with DMR's version at first, once I heard Van Morrison's, I was sorely dissapointed), GOB's Paint it Black, Strawberry Fields Forever off the Across the Universe OST, Optiganally Your's Wichita Lineman (massive hardcore props to anyone who actually knows that song, you SD hipster you), and What's So Strange About Me by Trouble Andrew (probably the one I'm most embarrassed to admit to).
I looked back a few pages and didn't see it so here goes:
Original:
Cover:
The cover is so much more smoother in my opinion, simply beautiful chords and vocals in general, the first time I heard it I got major music chills. Also, the original music video is super creepy. :/

Imma have to disagree on this one. The cover removes the anxiety from the original one; when I listen to the cover I just feel somber, when I listen to Massive Attack's I feel like I'm watching a love one slowly dying before my eyes.

and I know this second one is blasphemy but I like it more
There are two kinds of people in this world: people who say there are two kinds of people in the world and people who know the first group of people are full of shit.
