I'd choose Editor. And I'd hit edit and make no changes. Though you know Editor can be counteracted easily if somebody just printscreens everything T_T America.

Numbers aren't important yet, but they will be soon. bumatlarge (by the way, I still pronounce your name as "boom-at-large"), I agree with you on a vast majority of your listing, though I'm going to disagree with your relegation of the Rock Star role. Consequently, I disagree with most of Radfield's. There are just too many roles in this game with killing power / "anti-town" potential to tie down to people. Your plan effectively makes top-slot townies useless and enables top-slot Mafia to have their anti-town powers. I don't care if you know where these powers are--this game can easily go as Toy Factory did, and be over in two or three cycles. bumatlarge--as an "Imba/self protection" role the Rock Star is quite top-notch. Not only would whoever chose it be protected to a very high degree, but he would also know two people who didn't get roles--and that second part is, in my opinion, more of a sale than the first, especially if whomever ends up partying I will be taking either Rock Star or Chuiu Jack as my role. Were I feeling more involved in the game at the moment, I'd lean toward Rock Star, since that would allow me to have amazing backtracking ability. However, the brokenness of the Jack completely boggles my mind. I'll probably be choosing that. Inventor is awesome[ly broken] and you guys should keep up the discussion on that, but I think somebody else would be able to better use the role. Kurumi... what was your second number pick?

I don't, though my patriotism runs strong. Caller, your comment about Radfield not anti-American is gold, by the way. Interestingly enough, we could theoretically hunt out an America by having everybody type a nuke command in the thread, though it's not really worth it right now... On May 16 2011 15:43 Ace wrote: Anyone else that didn't claim numbers should soon. I'm surprised no one has made a big deal about number clashing yet like in PYP 1. With so many unique numbers at the top and a bunch of clashes from 16 on down I think focusing our investigations into the clashing sets is a good start. We somewhat have an idea of what should be in the top slots so if any bad actions that were already discussed happen we know where to look. For the most part, the list is finished. My numbers are irrelevant, though for the sake of transparency I chose the same numbers that a Serial Killer in PYP3 chose. + Show Spoiler + 1. Flamewheel [][] 2. Scamp [7][11] 3. Caller [10][4] 4. Barundar [13][1] 5. Radfield [15][2] 6. GMarshal [17][2] 7. Deconduo [18][2] 8. Foolishness [1][1] 9. bumatlarge [1][18] 10. Kavdragon [2][1] 11. Chaoser [2][2] 12. Fishball [5][3] 13. KillerSOS [5][11] 14. Eiii [6][7] 15. Infinitestory [6][10] 16. Dreamflower [4][1] 17. Mr.Wiggles [4][2] 18. Original Name [4][6] 19. tnkted [4][12] 20. Chezinu 21. Ace [9][11] 22. Kurumi 23. Incognito 24. Node [9][1] 25. kitaman27 [9][1] I also have a post already typed up for tomorrow that will delve into said numbers a bit, though for the most part I think number theory (yessss math plug--later will come the time for numerical analysis) will only truly become effective after the first cycle. I could post it tonight, but I'll be able to cut a sizable portion of it out with one more number.

Since I'm right above both of them with [9][11] it would be in his best interest to ask Chezinu what numbers he picked. That way he'd know if that him and Kurumi picked the same number (if Chezinu picked [9][11] also) or just won't know if it's unique (if Chezinu picked [9][x] or [4][x]). Either way it wouldn't matter because nothing about number picks could tell you about alignment yet. I don't think FW noticed anything and instead was just asking what the second number pick is like all of us have been. Well, the truth is that I expect it's easier to get Kurumi's second number than it is to get both of Chezinu's... Furthermore, knowing Chezinu's number doesn't really give us that much. Furthermore, it's impossible for Kurumi and Incognito to have picked the same second number unless the number in question is 1. If it were anything else, they would be below Node and kitaman27 in the draft picks. Back to sleep for now--see you guys in a few.

A couple things to note right now. Unlike in TL Mafia XXXI, the Village Idiot does not end the game when lynched. The journalist power can also only be used once per cycle. So deconduo is pretty much being useless right now. Check him or shoot him at night if you're not going to lynch him now. Or lynch him--who cares? Also, I'm so glad nukes are public. Let me prove I'm not America. ##Nuke: infinitestory When no nuke kills my fellow staff member at the end of the day, we'll all be happy. Actually, that's not true. If somebody hypothetically had actually chosen America, they could launch the same nuke. Good luck with that, though--I can check and then shoot anybody foolish enough to do that in the following nights. Now just let me do my thing and check, protect, and/or shoot people at night. And I'm wondering if Ace and I noticed the same thing.

Node, stop being useless. In the eight posts you've made since the draft orders have been revealed there is only one post with over 40 words, and they've progressively become even less relevant to the game. Incognito is being silly. Lynching him is dumb. His posts are actually beneficial to the town, unlike many of the people filling up these pages right now. Scamp, your posts also don't say much. I wouldn't say they're evasive, but they're one step up from being useless. You've contributed very little to the discussion so far and you haven't even really demonstrated why you have suspicions of KillerSOS. deconduo needs to post more, and in not such a farcical fashion. tnkted has four posts since receiving his role PM. One is asking whether or not others had received their role PMs. One is nonsense, part blabbering about raptureready and part inane pressure on Mr. Wiggles. One is about how he doesn't know about the PYP setup and his conjectures on numbers. The last is about applying pressure, and he hasn't been around since. He needs to not only post more, but also post in a more contributory fashion. Fishball is being useless. And if a nuke does indeed land on infinitestory at the end of the day, you know who I'll be shooting. I'm placing my vote on Node for now.
