I don't think that there is a standardized +1 build. I would recommend going for 12 pool with an in base expansion, and get +1 then speed before lair.
There aren't a lot of adjustments you can make, and in most situations you are better off just sticking with the +1 and hoping for the best. The one exception is that if your opponent is going 9 pool, the mutalisks will be coming out too fast. If you see 9 pool, I can see two options. First option: cancel the +1, imminently get a lair and play normally. It's kind of a weird position to be in, because you can spore up and have a slightly better economy, but your opponent is free to expand and take a second gas, which you will not be able to do. You also don't have scouting, so you don't really know how many zerglings you should be making.
Or you can double down on the zerglings and just all in without the +1 before the mutalisks are out.
I don't play zerg, so I just made that all up, but it seems rather reasonable.
Look at chef's guide for hydra ZvZ and instead of hydras, i supposed you could just go lings. Just that you have to do critical damage because he will still have muta army after your attack.

I think one of the games in the HanaDaeToo finals b/w flash and jaedong featured a valk timing attack. I think it was on odd-eye. Check that out. Only works if they go muta first. If they do straight lurks, do standard camp and micro.

How many other other OSL/MSL/KTF cup and other prestigious events had BO7 finals ? The thread only mentioned You Are The Golf King MSL final as the last BO7 in pro BW. Thanks.

Not a strategy question, but I can't find any place to post so I'm posting it here: The windowed mode in ICCup Launcher has some buttons on top right, what do they do? I tried clicking on them but only 2 work. Also after clicking that mouse cursor icon (left most button), how do I switch it off?. Thanks.

If its not a proxy you shouldn't build any at your main. Build 2 sunkens at your natural right when it finished (you may need more than 2 drones to do that if he blocks it with his probe). One will take hits while the other completes. Try to block him from reaching your sunkens if you can.
if the first zeal is already at your natural hatch before u placed any sunken, u need 3 sunkens or miracle mass drone pull like peace did (which massively hurt his eco + he still needed a 3rd sunk because both sunks died = very late 3rd hatch) peace also was "lucky" that best's first zeal was stupidly wandering around trying to catch some drones, taking very long to actually make damage to the sunkens (could have been 5-6 extra attacks, 2nd zeal also tried to block drone instead of attacking sunk)
watch at 6:35 at 6:50, action should have made a 3rd sunken directly under the hatch/right sunken, which would enable him to survive much faster/safer. (jangbi lost a fight with 3 zeals and 2 probes against 8 lings and 3 drones which just shouldnt happen, because 1 zeal got surrounded while the rest tried to a move into drones (so they more or less walked into the drones instead of attacking them), then he focused both drones (while focussing the top drone, the bottom zeal again took a walk). It still looked ok for action, dont know why he didnt attack the 2 zeal 1 probe at 7:45 with 10 lings..... the moment the zeals got into the mineral, jangbi was at an advantage because he saw everything and made action force more lings.) in both games, 2 sunken were killed even though the zeals/probes got distracted and didnt fully attack them. so if a zeal is already at your nat before/when it finishes, better place 3 sunkens.
Thanks for your input. I agree 3 sunkens seem safer in this case. I rewatched the game and peace did place a 3rd sunken after his initial 2 went down. I wonder if Action would have won that way. If you go 3 sunkens right at the start what do you do if the P just takes this natural? Do you have enough recources to deal with it? I'm not that good, but pros seem to go with 2 most of the time so I just copied it. But I'm curious now and would like to learn
