I doubt they'll perma-ban everyone who did it but probably some sort of penalty. I know they didn't perma-ban in WoW at least. edit: the message is "Submitting non-personal system information" for those wondering. | ||

Submitting non-personal system specification. I believe they check what your current hardware setup is, that's all. More games do that (forced or with a question upfront). edit: Can be what the guy above me said, idk ;< | ||

I personally figured it was something to do with checking the "average" PC's on use to know just how much they can push HotS without crippling the machines of the majority of their current fans. | ||
