HomeStoryCup is back! The third HomeStoryCup will take place from June 23nd to June 26th 2011 at Take's studio apartment in Krefeld, Germany.
The Tournament

Group stage : Bo3 (1 day 4 groups, 1 day 3 groups) Playoffs Double Elimination : Bo3 LB Finale / WB Finale : Bo5 Grand finale : Bo7 (1:0 lead from the WB)

The venue for HSC#3 is a 200qm apartment with dedicated gaming arena and casting studio. The players will have the chance to relax in the chill out area, or by the outside grill and barbecue terrace. There will be gaming consoles as well as a poker table set up as well.
Of course HSC#3 will keep the relaxed and casual "LAN party" atmosphere of the previous cups. Expect great games, tons of live commentary by the players, and plenty of side action footage like interviews from the gaming area, the chill out lounge, the grill party terrace, and maybe from the Irish pub below the apartment. Like no other event HSC gives you a chance to get to know the people behind the gamer IDs.

History of the HomeStoryCup
The first HSC took place Saturday, Sep 11 to Sunday Sep 12. It featured 8 players fighting over a 500 Euro price pool. HomeStory Cup
HomeStory #2 Cup saw an increase of 8 players after following the success of the first cup, including a three times increase of prize pool money. A very informal, LAN Party approach gave to a very fun atmosphere via the Stream. HomeStory Cup #2 introduced an attractive 2 Megabit Stream at a 2.50 Euro Special offer price to help fund this generous quality and prize purse. This is going to be awesome, the amazing atmosphere of the Homestory weekends coupled with this new, incredible set-up (apartment, tables, screens, BBQ, poker, a chef, a pub and so on) AND the list of players (which is absolutely amazing, couldn't be better) will make this one of the highlights of SC2 esports up to this day I'm sure.

Agreed, Homestory cup's have been awesome so far and this one seems to be taking it to another level - can't wait for it :D

Well, most of these players will be in Sweden just a few days before. So I guess this means that Machine and Moonglade will be invited to DHS.

To the players it's a big party with other proplayers. To us it's a big tournament with lots of games to enjoy, it's a win for everyone!
