FXOBoss great initiative, i think fxo is pioneering the format and testing the waters for world integrated e-sports!
Do not be put off by the 15 and under demograph on teamliquid, their bad reading comprehension makes their post nothing but spam. |

Awesome news and I'd love if it they could go far but...
I just don't see that happening
I will of course be giving them mad support though. |

this is a great initiative, but FXO should've picked up some better players before pocketing out the cash. all this will demonstrate is that koreans will dominate foreigners, and thus discourage foreign teams to participate in the future.
keep in mind that although its not true that FXO is representing the foreign SC2 scene, in the eyes of koreans and many foreigners they will see this as the general idea. it would be great to put together a dream team that actually stands a chance against the top korean teams, like idra, huk, jinro, naniwa, thorzain, sheth, +some i may have forgotten, but i know that is only a dream.
regardless, i wish FXO the best of luck in korea.Last edit: 2011-05-30 13:25:02 |

| This rocks, and I've always held the opinion on almost everything that practice, particularly the right kinds of practice is the most important thing to being the best, I think if FXO ramps up the entire teams practice to korean levels they could easily become one of the best foreign teams period. |

Why would it discourage other teams? FXO is showing what's possible, and even if they don't get great results other foreign teams may be inspired to show that they can do better. This move can only be good for e-sports. |

I really think that they are one of the weaker team offerings and they stand no chance versus the koreans, but hopefully they get some good training from the Koreans and grow for the future. As it is now, it just feels like a wasted spot

Sheth is still going, just not competing in the Code A qualifiers. I think you misread the initial post. |
