I just woke up to find out that the Mafia has begun their attack on the innocent townies. Hell, it was about time. It's gonna be a looooooong day. I really can't support aprudds random accusation based on a question asked before the game. It seems to me that he is just testing the water so to speak - who is willing to quick vote, who is willing to jump on bandwagons, who will try to defend the inoccent until they are proven guilty without a doubt, and who is going to lurk and never post until directly mentioned? Waaaay to early to answer those questions. So let's have ourselves a nice clean random lynch at Day1, and most importantly Good Luck and Have Fun.

Yes, it was very rude of me to not provide an explanation. I will not post one liners in the future. It's simple really: A guy comes out of nowhere and makes a list with "innactives" when the game hasn't been running even for a full day. I would expect some people had not seen the thread at that time. The guy himself has JUST become "active", so he isn't on the list. What was more annoying was that the list wasn't even accurate. He posted an updated version (after being corrected by another player) and it still wasn't accurate. He makes himself appear helpful, while providing an absolutely useless piece of information. I do in fact categorize that behavior as scummy. As I said before, I have no interest in participating in the bandwagon lynch of freeloader625. So all-in-all, if I am going to random lynch someone with a 1/5 chance of them being mafia, TheAwesomeAll seems like the best target so far.

1.I used the profile/show posts feature of the forum and it seems that I misled myself about TheAwesomeAll's participation in the thread. The list was not his first post. My mistake. 2. Of course players who take the game seriously(especially those who live after the first few nights) will keep additional notes and/or spread sheets with post counts, etc. I believe that such information is very important, but not needed in the first half of Day1(especially if it is inaccurate). I will state the obvious and say that If someone has one post and someone else has 10 posts at Day1 their chances of being mafia are still 1/5. That being said, I still stand by my original opinion that making such a list at this point of the game is useless and keep my vote as it is.

I see that I have managed to draw some votes for myself - which is always welcome. The interesting thing is that several people in here have said my voting of TheAwesomeAll is not legitimate because they cannot understand my argument. I don't really know how to respond to that. I feel that I made myself pretty clear. Do I need to use over 26000 characters to get a simple point across? If you really don't understand it you are either not very smart or are I just hit a nerve and you are trying to protect your scum buddy. Seriously, I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, but they don't really disagree, they state that they don't understand my argument. Here are some examples. supersoft + Show Spoiler + voted for him because he voted against theawesomeall with a poor reason. I think theawesomeall -with his list - is obviously a scary player for mafiosi and other people that don't want to be in the spotlight. CjrNinja + Show Spoiler + He made a list, and he’s checking it twice. No big deal, a good way to keep track of people who haven’t contributed much, if anything Xedat + Show Spoiler + I will vote for Monsterdrakar because his reason for voting theawesomeall (Lists of inactives are bad) is stupid and I think that contributing should not be met with pointless allegations. Now here is the edited version of my argument against TheAwesomeAll. What happened? 12 hours after the start of the game the player in question makes a post including a list with innactives. At that time a large portion of the players have not even seen the thread. The posted list itself is not accurate, even after being updated once. What has the player done for himself? He has made himself appear useful, even helpful to the town. Is he really? Even if we ignore the facts that it was way too early for such kind of a list and the list itself was not accurate at all, you cant ignore the fact that a list with innactives is useless in its very nature - innactives will be modkilled. End of story. Here is a fake quote illustrating the situation - "Hey guys, see this awesome list I made, I took the time and I made and effort to contribute, unlike those other bad innactives". Why did I vote for that player? I vote for TheAwesomeAll because he has made a fake contribution to the thread, with which he is trying to demonstrate a pro-town behavior. It seems like he managed to decieve some people that he was really helping. Or are they his mafia buddies looking out for him? Interesting question....

I doubt that there are more than 2 reds in the 9 ppl who voted for rookie. It was a classic bandwagon. The single most suspicious person in the game is Kurumi. He is probably the one person who has made himself so suspicious that he will survive the night no matter of his alignment. I'm curious, did the people who voted for rookie do so because jackal58 was basically declared the best player in the game by several earlier posts? If so - way to be sheepherded.

I think that jackal58 would only be comfortable with his failed accusation of rookie if he was a green or the godfather. For that reason I think that a DT scan on him would be a total waste. Also lafali's late vote is very curious indeed. He was late by just a few minutes and probably thought it would still count. Why would a mafia vote for a person who is basically already dead, when obviously he knew he is town. No point in making yourself suspicious when it was not needed at all. Did the mafia have some sort of an agreement to vote on rookie? Another thing player Munk-E throws his vote at lafali, but at the point he does that it is all but decided that lafali will get modkilled. Very accurate mafia prediction for Day1, certainly suspicious. Player freeloader625 voted rookie but quickly changed his mind. Perhaps he realized that rookie was a goner even without his vote, after all freeloader625 was already a prime suspect, why would he want more attention for himself by voting on the bandwagon?
