Can't wait for the pro smurfs to troll for the amateur prize pool. Can't blame them though when it's near equivalent to the pro prize pool.

I dont really agree with this "pro am" type thing, not much separates the two groups imo, and where do you draw the distinction. For example in the cpmplexity tournament, qxc and optikzero played in the amateur tournament, but they both play on professional salaries... If youre basimg it on skill, that see,s very subjective... Otherwise event looks great

I agree with Xeris.. if you do a PRO/AM at least the pros should be invited and then open bracket for the amateurs.. but the problem is that all the "pros" that won't get invite will move the amateur tournament!

And with a different prize pool i guess almost all tier 2 pro players will want to play in the amateur to have more chances!
// Teams: EG, TL, IM, FXO // Players: Dimaga, Life, Jaedong, Thorzain, Stephano, Ret, Sen, incontrol, machine, Syz, Nestea, Leenock //

This is great, but I just have to say something:

The most annoying thing recently with tournaments has been that they all think they're hot enough to have players commit to 20 different dates/occasions/rounds over a span of 1/2/3 months.

Now I don't know if Players are expected to show up and play at each and every one of the "Rounds" (I'm assuming so, can't find any info saying otherwise on the website). If so, the tournament is expecting a pretty big commitment from players, making them screw all vacation plans for their entire summer.

Again, I'm assuming players have to show up at every round. If not, I guess I'm a fool for posting this.

But you're asking every player to set aside every 3rd day of his/her summer from June 23rd and 2 months forward. If this is true, you need to clarify that fact on your sign up page, or I sort of fear this tournament might be riddled with walk overs and no shows.

If I'm wrong about having to show up every 3rd day, I'm sorry. But you need to post some info clarifying the matter either way. I won't commit to this without some clarification -- and you'll save yourself plenty of walk overs and no shows.
