IG Gosu Grandmaster Cup Qualification Details:
+ Show Spoiler +
Top three finishers of this tournament qualify to participate in this season's IG Gosu Grandmaster Cup in June. Other players who make it to this tournament's Round of 8 will be seeded on the waiting list for this season's IG Gosu Grandmaster Cup based on their ladder ranking. These players are encouraged to show up and check-in for this season's IG Gosu Grandmaster Cup, as they will have the chance to take the place of a previously qualified player who does not show up and/or check-in.
Placing in the top three in any IG Gosu Cup does not disqualify a participant from participating in future IG Gosu Cups. If a player qualifies more than once in a month, their additional spot(s) in this season's IG Gosu Grandmaster Cup will be filled by players on the waiting list based on ladder ranking.

MAP POOL:
+ Show Spoiler +
Each series will be played on the designated maps listed below. Each stage of the tournament will begin on the maps as identified below, and all best-of-x series match-ups will proceed on a “loser's choice” basis, with the loser of each game choosing the next map from the pool listed below as the map to be used in the next game of the series. Each map may only be played once in a given series.
- Metalopolis* (Round of 128)
- Xel'Naga Caverns* (Round of 64)
- Shakuras Plateau* (Round of 32 starting map)
- Tal'Darim Altar** (Round of 16 starting map)
- iCCup Testbug** (Round of 8 starting map)
- Bel'Shir Beach (Semi-finals starting map)
- Terminus SE** (Finals starting map)
* These maps will be those which are being used in the 2011 Major League Gaming events. Metalopolis, Xel'Naga Caverns, and Shakuras Plateau have been modified to have a buried, destructible supply depot below each spawn ramp to ensure that the bottom of ramps cannot be blocked with only two pylons or bunkers. Metalopolis has been modified to ensure either cross-map or close-air spawn positions. Shakuras Plateau now has no destructible rocks behind spawn positions, and only allows for cross-map or close-air spawn positions.
** These maps are the same as those in most current usage by the GSL or iCCup.
CASTING:
Select match-ups will be casted live by It's Gosu staff members Ayesee and Redmagejr.
