Are you sure its not the mic itself that is awful?
Well, my previous Mobo had no troubles with the headset and a friend of mine bought his Carcharias with me and it works great for him.
Anyway, no suggestion on decent soundcards?

Hi Guys! In game it says my suggested graphics is extreme and textures are ultra, but I only get ~ 30 fps in a 1v1 without max vs max armies.
My setup is as follows:
AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 640 Processor
8 GB of DDR3 ram
and A nvidia GTS 450
Is there something that could be wrong with my pc? Or am I just expecting too much from my setup? |

1. To the people with 8GB+ of RAM = What is it that you do with it, and how do you know if need more RAM?
2. Realistically, aren't i5+ (or better CPUs) overkill for a vast majority of people, gamers even?

Not sure what the system requirements for D3 are, should be okay for SC2. But good god order it custom and get an upgrade to a 7200RPM HDD. You have no idea how much of a difference that makes. A 5400RPM 1TB drive would be stupid slow; pretty much makes it pointless to have an i7.
