| So after the latest update of Adobe whenever I try to watch an own3d.tv stream it won't show, only in fullscreen mode. For justin it's fine though. Any ideas why is this? |

1280 x 1024, but I'd want it to be decent enough if I decide to get a new monitor or hook up the computer to the TV (I have a samsung TV that supports resolutions up to 1900 x 1200).
This brings up another question: Is getting a HDMI port in a desktop computer as simple as getting a graphics card with a HDMI port or will I have to upgrade my motherboard? |

I have problems with patch 1.4.4. It says that it cannot create C:\Program Files (x86)\Starcraft 2\Battle.net\Battle.net-patch.MPQ.temp"
Is the only solution to uninstall and install? |

yes, it is
well to run skyrim on max you could get a 7850, if not, but on very decent high settings, a 6870 will be pretty cheaper and very good too
though that psu.... is bad, from what i see
you will have to change that too (even though ask more someone like myrmidon/skyr, they know a lot mroe about that then me)

Firefox, I assume? Website feedback thread, R1CH said the correct solution is to not use Firefox.
Oh, and I found what may be the answer to what's causing my fucking PC to freeze since the damn lightning strike. Apparently it's related to some random ass piece of software on my HDD, since I only formatted my SSD. But fuckit, leaving the task manager open works.Last edit: 2012-07-21 23:24:28 |

Is there some way you can analyze what's happening when you start windows? Or more precisely when I'm login into windows 7. Just today it takes much longer time than normal to log into my computer. It boots normally and then when I press my user account it stops maybe 10-20 seconds longer than normal where it says "Welcome" on the screen, then the screen becomes black (you can see the pointer) and stays there for another 30 seconds before it resumes loading, After I get past the black background everything starts to load normally at what seems to be normal speed at least. I haven't noticed any other problems and I haven't installed anything other than a few steam games since this started. Any ideas?
Update: Nevermind. I had my Galaxy S2 connected to an usb port and once I removed it everything works as normal again! Not that I know why having the phone connected to my computer would delay my boot time by nearly a minute but oh well. :/Last edit: 2012-07-22 08:16:42 |

Why is the volume in a lot of tournament streams so unbearably slow?
the recent MLG comes to mind. Even at 100%, I can only barely hear it, and I need to put winamp at 5% if I want want to hear music during the stream |

My only answer is lol, i have to put it at 1% and flash at max 5% to not hear it while on skype/mumble with my friends... if that was a problem, i would have the opposite hear Oo |

I recently installed Razer Death Adder driver for my mouse to turn off the glowing lights.
But now it suddenly messed with my current mouse sensitivity. Ive been tinkering with it for the entire day now, and I still cant put it back to exactly how I had it before.
Is there a possible way to restore my current settings before I installed the drivers? (I already tried uninstalling the driver, didnt work). |

having a problem being unable to hear game alerts (like your units are under attack) not really sure what i need to toggle in the setting to fix it (or if it is a settings problem at all) i have everything turned on in the sound tab, and have the "game sound while alert" bar thing set to 30 so cant figure out why not getting alerts
EDIT1: just tried setting the alert bar thing to 0%, and i could hear the game mute whenever an alert was supposed to happen but no alert happens so im pretty sure its my headphones (been using them for a good amount of time and wouldnt be surprised if they were broken) but as far as i can tell every other sound goes through fine and its this specific thing that wont come through

Personal preference. What's your resolution? Think of it this way, for example, if you have a 1920x1080 display, 1080 DPI will travel from the bottom to the top of your display in one inch of mouse movement. The slower you want your cursor to move, the less DPI you need. This makes precision easier at the expense of larger motions.
I'm pretty sure most of this is explained in the actual mouse thread. |
