Some tips for ppl just joining in:
1) Use google chrome to run +, It is fairly compact and you will get the best usability. IE users wont be able to upload photos very easily and firefox wouldnt update circles fast enough. Trust me it's worth it.
2) Unlike facebook there isn't a PM system per-say. There is a way to enable an "Email me" button on your profile which, once everybody realizes it, will replace PMing. Most users have this disabled (by default) so if you want to send them a message that only they will see then here's what you do:
i. Start a new post like normal
ii.Below the message you will see the tile(s) that shows who can see this message
iii. Remove any circles by clicking their "x"s and then manually add the individual you want to PM
iv. Don't get confused, it will look like a normal post but only you and your friend can see it
3) Having a lot of people in a lot of circles is a good thing. Unlike facebook it is easy to manage large groups of "strangers" and have a lot of fun! Today we had a big group of people during the NASL finals and it worked really well. We all added eachother to a specific TL circle (if you don't know you can add circles beyond the defaults) and then had our own mini LR thread. NOTE: some of us tried to use the Hangout feature to mixed results... the biggest group I saw was 4
4) Go comment on the TL post linked in the OP. After you comment add all the people who commented above you to a new circle specifically for TLers. Now on your home screen you have a one-click way to see the posts specifically from TL community members. Following the people that follow you is really the key to building this up (otherwise they will see your new posts but you wont see theirs)
5) There is a TL Spark! Click "Sparks" on the left from the home screen and search for TL and follow the shit out of it. |

Everybody should have extra invites right now, if you can't figure out how to invite: On the home screen click the Invite "People to joing Google+" and enter their email and then click on the tooltip looking bubble that appears underneath the email address. Then and only then will you be able to click the Invite button.

Google needs to implemented a auto add to circle feature. Like am I really expected to add every new "teamliquid+" member that joins up?
That's a lot of effort!
Wish there was an automatic add to distributed circle group thingy-magingy.
Oh and I can add people to google+
