I'll use it without a doubt because all the Google products are awesome and the demo of this one looks good.
But I just can't say that I'm going to quit Facebook because I know most of my friends are never going to change because change, even to a better thing, is scary as hell to computer science noobs. |

| If their group management tools are good enough to allow using google+ as a tool to manage your real life friends and your gaming friends and on top of that also as business network while having decent privacy features then I think it has good chances of suceeding. |

Hangout seems dumb, but Huddle could be neat. I really hope Google implements Circles well, "groups" on FB is really troublesome to use, especially for ungrouped people in the past.
Anyway, I primarily use e-mail to catch up with my friends (surprise, almost no FB), so if this goes well, it could lead me into the whole social network scene. |

I`m sorry to disappoint you mate, but the moment you double clicked on ANY browser icon you gave up your privacy, starting that moment Google knew everything there was to know about you. Your name, address, your parents and siblings, child diseases, blood type, favorite food, your fetishes, your first kiss, what do you actually sing when you're in the shower. EVERYTHING.
At this moment google cannot care less about ANY person information. Because they already know everything. Except what to do with all that info.

Lol, I don't think Morfildur is the paranoid one here...
I would give this a shot over facebook just to see how it works and what it is. |

Huddle and hangout look pretty sweet. I hate getting swamped with texts every weekend. Even if I make a wall post like "at the lake house, come chill." I still get derp texts all "yo dude are you at home this weekend? Can I bring so n so?"
Would be nice to get everybody into huddle to figure shit out.
Other then that the whole thing seems redundant.Last edit: 2011-06-29 22:27:24 |

Sigh... if only google didn't over engineer just about everything.
I think a slashdot user said it best. If google made a page with comments box for people to post shit at 2006, facebook would've being dead in a week. |

I feel like this is a little too late, but we'll see. I have to get my e-Hipster-mode on and try it first before it becomes popular lol...
I hope they incorporate this with other google products, like google music. If anyone here wants to get into the google music beta you can ask for an invite at google.com/music. It's a pretty cool cloud environment that makes your music available no matter where you are!
And the Android app for Google Music is pretty clean. IDK if any Droid users have been frustrated with the poor media player on the Android phones, but this pretty much goes around the problem.Last edit: 2011-06-29 22:42:54 |

So all the "No Way!" voters... do you currently use Facebook / Twitter? or are you just voting cuz you can....
because i believe the purpose of the poll was to get a good estimate of who would switch over from their current social network site (if not multiple) |

| hmm. let's face it. most of us sort of like facebook and Google already knows everything about us. This has actually some nice ideas and this is gonna be really really good with android. I have an android phone myself. So I'll prob check it out. |

| I want! The thing I hate about Facebook is that when I like or share something, everyone (and I mean everyone) that's ever been included in my life some way or another, will see it. Circle-thingy is sexy. |
