Hi there! I know I’m pretty new here, but don’t let that scare you off I’m currently working on a project that aims to let you have much more control of your settings!
Screenshots:
There also is a feature that lets you save links to files that you usually need (drivers etc.)
Besides the fact that it lets you have hundreds of more levels of settings, the most important functionality (I think) is that you can store your settings online. This way, you can retrieve your settings on any other computer (running Windows) you have to play on. Just type in your username and download your settings – then your current settings will be set to your likings!
I’ve made a FAQ, on which a lot of questions are answered. EDIT:The FAQ link has been fixed. http://magikat.net/pages/faq
The client can be downloaded at http://magikat.net/pages/client, where you can also see how much more precise you can set your Windows settings, compared to not usingi MAGIKAT!
Any feedback is appreciated!

Please do give feedback, regardless of your results I'm pretty sure everything works just fine, though.

Is this open source? I might be interested in helping if it is, and a language I know

It would be really nice if you included mouse polling frequency and acceleration (neither a Windows setting). Then this really would be a great all-in-one tool.
|
It looks like a sweet program but as the above poster said it needs to have the ability to turn off mouse acceleration which requires a registry edit as far as I know.... at least thats how I did it.

Looks good, especially the save online function.

Hmm.. Is this the one you are talking about? http://katnegermis.dk/DragDropShare/uploaded/gvrhfenhjvh.jpeg If so, that is already included

That setting is known to not remove acceleration completely. There are a few registry edits and stuff floating around, but as said, if you could integrate it in the program (along with polling frequency) it would actually be a really nice post-format tool.
Right now, it just saves me a trip to the mouse settings I already have, which is surely more effort overall.

Not trying to be the negative person here, but what stops a person from rather typing in "Mouse" or "keyboard" in the search on Windows instead of using this program?

Because would you rather have all of your crap in one program that makes everything simply one click away or have to search through everything separately? It's not a huge deal but a time saver.

It takes like 20 seconds to go to Control Panel and change all the Mouse/Keyboard settings. I don't really see how downloading/installing a program saves time, even if you're on a new computer, and especially if it might not even turn off acceleration.
It's literally 4 clicks to open both the Mouse and Keyboard settings. Start Menu > Control Panel > Mouse, Keyboard.

It should work now - the only problem is that you have to reboot/relog, if you want it to take effect. Trying to make it so that you can avoid that atm.

Wow, this seems really good :D!

As of now, it is not. But if enough people have interest in it, it might become
