In-Game Sound Issue - StarCraft II

So, I've never had this problem before, but I was trying to ladder today (due to the reset) and for whatever reason I don't get any in-game sounds: no alerts, unit responses, etc.

All my sound settings are enabled, etc. HOWEVER, while I do not get any sounds in-game I get all the Battle.Net sounds, background music, etc.

Its just my in-game sound effects that don't seem to be working. Is anyone else encountering this? Could be a possible bug with the new patch? I haven't changed any settings or anything, just for whatever reason I have no in-game sound effects

EDIT:

Upon further investigation it seems the issue is that I am not getting Movement, Response, and Error sounds. Other in-game sounds seem to be working. Yes, they're all enabled. Yes, I have tried enabling them and disabling them. I've tried resetting in-game sound settings numerous times, whether that be by adjusting the dials manually or restoring default settings. I definitely had sound before so I don't know what could be the cause.

It sounds like some sound files are missing?
I don't want to be lame but have you tried the Blizzard Repair Tool?

Straight from the Blizzard Support site:

When should I use the repair tool?

Game crashes due to data reported as missing or corrupted.
In-game graphical or sound issues due to missing data.
Updater reports it cannot patch because the source data does not match.

Where is the repair tool, and how do I use it?

In your StarCraft II Installation folder, there is a folder labeled "Support". Inside this folder is a file called "Repair.exe" for PC or "Repair.app" for Mac. To perform a repair, simply run this file.

Doing so will prompt you with a dialogue, asking you if you want to repair. Clicking "Repair" will begin the process. Note that this process may take an extended amount of time - this is normal.

I will try that thank you. Don't understand why some sound files would suddenly go missing. Everything was working fine b4 today.

Had the same problem for a few minutes, I fixed it by spamming alt tab.

Did the gas knock everyone out? Nope, just Jensen.
