Uhh.. have you seen the TV shows of the last decade? The quality of TV content is the highest its ever been, its safe to say we are currently living in the GOLDEN AGE of television serials in fact. Surely the industry itself is nowhere near flawed - it has a distinct utility that interactive media dont - that a person wishes to NOT interact and be purely in the role of the laid back consumer. And at this task, TV is the most proficient form of entertainment available. |

| So being from the "other" starcraft community, does this mean that BW will take a huge hit in korea or is just a set back? Being not so familiar with the scene, it seems like this is a fucking huge blow. Could someone more knowledgeable perhaps give me some scope? |

I always preferred MBC to OGN, the programming and commentators were just so much better. It used to pretty much take up all of my entertainment time for so long... it'd be such a shame to see it go. Now I pretty much just play SC2, but tuning in to watch PL, MSL, and OSL is just such a treat, I never really feel the pure excitement of seeing great BW games by watching the GSL, except for the occasional game.
