stargate don't work, VR don't deal enough damage to justify the investment, same for phoenix
i really don't understand why top protoss players still continue to waste gas with this build that works once every ten games.
i'm really disappointed; Mana PvT and PvP are excellent, his PvZ is horrible.

The opener was fine. He forced that many queens + spores and all he made was a voidray and a couple phoenixes, and the voidray was a big part of holding off the initial attack on the third. He was overcommitted some of the other times though.
stargate is not fine unless you deny the zergs third, which he didn't do.
At this stage of the metagame, almost every zerg knows how to stop stargate play already, you rarely see it work anymore, that's why a lot of the protoss players are switching away from this opening.
But then again, I dont think the queens were forced because from the looks of it, Dimaga just loves making queen regardless lol |
