This show, is so low-brow. I cannot think of more linear characters than these ones. And the plot is absolutely dreadful. The only thing that is "good" is the art. Yeah, good rendering and shit, doesn't make a good TV show/movie (i.e. Michael Bay). And it attracts role-players, some of the creepiest people on the planet. And the fans on FiM don't even use their own nomenclature correctly. It's /b/rony, 1. Learn to use singular and plural forms, it's not /b/ronie, I don't care what anyone says because it's wrong no matter what, 2. It is /b/ronie because a large portion of people now in the fanbase would not have heard of it without /b/. It was on /co/ for quite some time, and I didn't see it anywhere. Then, some of the users on /co/ went to /b/, to create their own tripfag circlejerk roleplaying thread. So if you want to be a "/b/rony" then god damnit you better know how to not spell jabronis.
Bottom line, this should not be enjoyed by adults, it's anti-humanist to lower yourself, even for entertainment purposes. I've seen it slowly start to happen to my best friend, his vocabulary is practically dead. I can't imagine him getting better as long as he keeps up his "fandom".

I don't see a midget. (No, I don't mean to insult anyone.)
Anyways, what you see is what you get. That's just them being... them.
The guy wearing top hat who's staring into your soul.
Honestly, I first started watching the show because I loved the novelty of thinking "ahaha, I'm watching My Little Pony". That wore off after a while and I actually started really liking the show, though after a period of a couple months my interest in ponies has dwindled to ambivalence.
It's an okay show. The best part is the facial expressions >_>
It is better than most cartoons, but honestly it is a bit dry of wit, character development and storyline. I would guess that reading books, watching TV shows and movies help against thinking that this show is legitimately good, but my opinion is most likely biased anyway.
As someone previously stated, what gets this up to par is the innocence the show reeks of. I suppose that is a good thing. >.<

Listen to this wise man, ponies are the source of EVIL! EVIL I SAY!
Cast the ponies out, these horrid bringers of plague and woe! Look in the bible, the four *horsemen* of the apocalypse! Horse-people much like these ponies!
Flee in terror! Burn the ponies!
Seriously though, watching something childish is not "anti-humanist", and while its not educational, its also not damaging, or else children wouldn't advance developmentally. This is like saying "I had stake for dinner, its raining outside, EATING STAKE CAUSES RAIN"
"life of lively to live to life of full life thx to shield battery" The measure of a terrible day is when you go to bed thinking "man, I wish the zombie apocalypse would start already"

Yeah, I just don't see what it so attractive about this. So many other good children's shows out there too, so it doesn't make sense to me why people think that it is good. I somewhat have to agree with the people saying that it is a joke fad. I wouldn't be surprised if people watch and promote just so they can say that they do, no matter that it isn't really that great. Now, Samurai Jack, that is a good children's TV show. + Show Spoiler [eating stake] +

In this picture you can find one girl, one midget, one guy holding what appears to be a pen in his mouth
And a guy in a slick suit.
Unfortunately I'd rather self insert a catheter than watch this. I'd love it if someone could explain to me what the hell is going on. This has left me very confused.
I was tempted to watch the first episode but then I saw this picture.
Thanks for the photo, saving 22 would-be agonizing minutes of my life.
Ive been hooked since the first episode, and do not try to put any sort of reasoning behind it, I just love it because it makes me happy, simple as that! Had a bad day, stressful, tiring? Watch some ponies, get better.
I dont get what any of this has to do with manliness or whatever, and don't care about the haters, pony style. As for the whole brony community, thing, while i enjoy some of the content produced because its actually funny and/or very well made, it doesn't influence my liking of the show, and I would still love ponies if there were no bronies (and for the people making fun of the group picture, i'm pretty sure we could find some very embarassing SC lan pictures...people are ugly, so what)
btw, rarity best pony <3

What a pathetic thing to say. That could easily be a gathering of SC2 fans or a gathering of pretty much any "nerdy" event.

He's not feeding the trolls. He IS the trolls. He's also apparently confused about the origin of "brony," which is a simple merger of the term "bro" and "pony" to represent the unexpected teen/adult male following of the new My Little Pony. (The term has been broadened to include female fans. Just as women can be bros, they can also be bronies.) If it were meant to be /b/ + pony, there wouldn't be an 'r'...
My strategy is to fork people.

I don't know how to feel about this show. The intro song is really really annoying to say the least. The show is kinda silly and cute to say the least but its nothing to define yourself by (brony... ect.) I think ill try watching a couple more episodes when I have nothing better to do but thats about it.
My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is the new shit!. I love it and so far every friend I've forced to watch the first episodes has continued watch the show of their own free will.
I can also understand why some people don't enjoy it, after all it's a show for real men. Not everyone are that stage in their life just yet.
And Fluttershy is awesome!
