How many 5-year-olds can you take down?

Good drunken debate from a few nights ago.

The question: How many 5 year-olds could you take on at once?

The specifics:

- You are in an enclosed area, roughly the size of a basketball court. There are no foreign objects.
- You are not allowed to touch a wall.
- When you are knocked unconscious, you lose. When they are all knocked unconscious, they lose. Once a kid is knocked unconscious, that kid is "out."
- I (or someone else intent on seeing to it you fail) get to choose the kids from a pool that is twice the size of your magic number. The pool will be 50/50 in terms of gender and will have no discernable abnormalities in terms of demographics, other than they are all healthy Americans.
- The kids receive one day of training from hand-to-hand combat experts who will train them specifically to team up to take down one adult. You will receive one hour of "counter-tactics" training.
- There is no protective padding for any combatant other than the standard-issue cup.
* The kids are motivated enough to not get scared, regardless of the bloodshed. Even the very last one will give it his/her best to take you down.

I set my magic number at 30, but upon reflection, I think I could take on a few more. How many could you take on?

can they scratch and bite? what kind of clothes am i wearing? what kind of clothes are they wearing?

EDIT- oh shit i just thought of something, if i am wearing a cup on my nads. i will run across the room take off the cup and use it as a weapon. or use the knocked out kids as shields, battering rams, and/or throw them at other hordes of kids.

I'm thinking 50 could be possible, i'm a big aussie bloke, and have had extensive crocodile wrestingling training as a kid.

One thing, if they push/force you into a wall, do you get DQ or just if you intentially touch it? It would be harder if you started off in the centre.

I would say i could take on more, because 5 years olds would have no power behind their punches, the only weakness would be my groin. I dont know how many 5 year old kicks and punches it could take.

I was pondering if they just all jumped in and wrapped you up (grabbing legs and tipping you over and jumping on you from there) how much would that really hurt?

Since you are going for 50/50 and both sexes, you will either be choosing mostly guys and some girls (sice some of the guys will be pansies) or half and half so it would be easier.

Okay i'm going for 60.

BTW i was just thinking a 2 year old i saw on TV he was the size of a 9 year old (because he ate so much, he was a huge little thing. I hope there aren't any of those little beasts)

I could probably take as many as it takes until I tire out or I break my hands. so about 10 minutes worth of nonstop punching, kicking, throwing, running, jumping. assuming i take down 10 kids a minute i would say 100.

10 of them leaping at you at once would be hard to stop though then 4 hanging off of each arm/leg holding you down will stop you from doing major damage, then once you are down, stomping on your nuts until they break, while others are trying to gouge out your eyes. And others start chewing on your fingers!

Remember they've had 1 day training to work as a team!

Five years is not much. As far as I can keep them from hanging on to my legs and pull me down, I think I can handle like 40. The hardest thing will be to avoid those Ive hit, who's on the floor and try to pull my feet away.

exactly and who says im going to let the get close enough to grab onto me? i can jump over their heads and run faster than them. do they all come in smith from matrix revolutions style? or do they all just start out in the room with you?

honestly I dont think any of you could take down 30-40 5 years olds. Its not that they are strong but you will get tired and if you knock out 10 of them their bodies will pill up and the rest can climb up to directly attack your head.
