Night 7: The end
It was time. A choice needed to be made. A correct choice meant another night of life, a mistake meant the end of the world. As hours passed the air seemed still, as if the whole universe awaited a verdict. Crows gathered in clouds, silently watching the town. The shrike stood impassive. The sun lowered in the sky as the seven remaining people argued and bickered. At the end of the day it was decided that RayzorFlash was a member of the cult. He was damned by his own testimony and the words of and Inquisitor. Resignedly RayzorFlash stood atop the tree of thorns.
This time the shrike did not thrum with power, it instead walked up to a terrified RayzorFlash and in a single motion drove a spike through his heart. RayzorFlash's blood seemed to boil in his body before being drained into the spike. chaoser laughed, and laughed and laughed. A terrified Pyo drew a silver blade, the Avenger, the blade of the silver flame. "Fool" chaoser spat at him "you are far too late to stop us, you should have ran when you had the chance. All your efforts were in vain". As he said this chaoser was wrapped in the shadows now climbing the tree of thorns. Pyo didn't have time to react to Curu's iron fist, which tightened around his head before popping it in a shower of gore. "How low the inquisition has fallen" curu whispered, looking at the ruined mess before him.
supersoft saw this from only a few feet away, and a slow smile spread over his face, it was obviously time, supersoft took out a long curved knife from under his cloak. Indeed, it was time, a tall pale, sickly looking man was walking towards him. It was obviously Erandorr. supersoft charged towards him, a mad giggle racking his body, it had been *so long* since he had felt this thrill. Erandorr simply paused, lifted his hand and uttered a word in the baletounge supersoft toppled to the ground, dead, blood seeping out of every orifice in his body.
Atop the tower Kurumi awaited chaoser, he knew how this would end. Divested of holly weapons and in the middle of the most unholy ritual to ever curse this world, there was never really any question of his death, it was simply a matter of how many cultist he could take with him. "well, well, well, we meet again, Apael" chaoser said sardonically, "so nice to see you at my hour of triumph". At the sound of chaoser's voice Kurumi turned, only to see chaoser wrapped in flames, her true form revealed, that of a succubus. That was the last sight Kurumi's eyes would see, as a massive spike from the shrike thudded into his chest, spilling blood everywhere.
The world would remember this day as the beginning of the end. From the tree of thorns an army of undead and unholy things would march, accompanied by three ascended cultists and an armor of black steel whose name was whispered in the shadows as the shrike. No nation or man could stand against this threat. Many have wondered, quivering in terror in their houses, soon to be their tombs, if things might have turned out differently had the good people of liquidia been able to succeed in weeding out the cult.

Curu, Ipos the Iron Fist (cult torturer) has risen as a lord of the damned
Erandorr, Vulgrim the Plagueporter (cult initiate) has been granted his darkest wishes
