And one more question: the leviathan s to appear in hots (you know the thing kerrigan is living in)
now some people say it's a behemoth in the trailer (cgi invasion of korhal)
do you think they will be the same in the game or there will be two different species with the behemoth being the transport (afaik kerri used leviathans to transport broods to char in the second great war) |

As long as that leaked ending from a few years back turns out to be fake i'll be happy.

They're two different ones, I'd assume. The leviathan is probably something of a "flagship". It can't possibly house the entire swarm, which is where the behemoth comes in.

I usually check the wiki or google to get something new. I personally haven't heard of anything special. I am as hungry for new information as you. Two years for an expansion is a long time to wait. |

As far as I know, "behemoths" is just how Leviathans are called in the books.
I hope Dante is right, but it seems they are the same.

Btw; does it anybody fin strange that blizzard kinda spoils the end? (invasion of korhal anyone?) i think the cgi is the ending cinematic, not the intro (kerrigan wouldn't start with a massive invasion and then do shit on kaldir etc. of couurse it could be somewhere in the middle of the game, but he problem is that i've read several times that hots will only have 2 cgi cinematics, but tons of other cutscenes.

| Maybe. But the WoL trailer was even more specific about the invasion of Char. However, it did not say anything about why. Sure, Kerrigan's gunning for Mengsk, but maybe there is a reason we don't know about yet that is mentioned mid-game, or something along that way. |

I think Dante meant that yes, sure it is Korhal/Augustgrad that Kerrigan is invading. What we may not know is way she is doing it. I though WoL trailer was pretty clear about slaying Kerrigan, turned out I was wrong. Maybe there is something more to the plot.
But one way or another, WoL trailer spoilered 90% of the plot. I hope HotS trailer has spoiled less than that... |

Even if the story won't be good, it would be even worse spoiling it. wol, was fun to play and the missions weren't bad at all and we've met some nice new characters and some other characters made a little comeback.
i just hope blizzard will make the story mare believable and serious, not naive and "romantic" like the wol one... |

111O11n100 t00he issue between father Mengsk and son Mengsk, it's pretty evident that no amount of convincing or otherwise on Valerian's part would persuade Arcturus to give Raynor, pretty much his worst enemy, a part of the artifact. Also considering it was Valerian that lead the Dominion's forces to Char, effectively taking credit for any victory there, that makes it pretty clear that father and son aren't working together and just putting on a show.
Also, when you consider how interesting story elements work, a betrayal by Valerian on Raynor, in favor of Arcturus, wouldn't be as exciting as Valerian pursuing his goals he laid out in WoL and becoming Arthas in space. Of course, with Kerrigan on the loose something is bound to get screwed up somewhere along the line, but I wouldn't be surprised if Valerian played some kind of support role for Kerrigan if she made some attack on the Dominion or, more specifically, Arcturus Mengsk. Remember, Valerian really has nothing to gain by defending his father, if you think about it. |

i think 2012 is really realistic. i think i can say that for sure. i believe that blizz will release hots in the second quarter 2012 maybe 3rd, i hope not 4th...
they started with hots shortly before wol was shipped, they already had their hardcore-programming phase and in may or so they said they have the first half of the campaign ready, not to mention the bnet and cinematics etc.
also blizz said they will work 18 months on the game, so these 18 months are already in the past (regarding the 1st year anniversary of wol was this summer) we come close to spring 2012.
sry that it's tldr, noone knows the exact answer, just wanted to clear it a bit up =) |

Actually they didn't. They sure had both Zerg and Protoos singleplayer material in 2008, before the game "splitted". But since Wings of Liberty production beginned, that did nothing but the Terran campaign and multiplayer until the shipping. Even after that they took some weeks (actually I think months) before starting Heart of the Swarm.
But I agree HotS must be shipping around May 2012. |
