3rd: the report system sucks. Mainly bc there are no replays available therefore its almost impossible to find proof to report people. Like how would you report somebody if he exclusively using voice chat?
Lastly: i think some additional rules need to be added to make the game quality higher. Something like temp ban all 5 people if no ward+chick bought before game start is applied to other leagues and i dont see why it should not be in TLIH. Also if there is a system that connect the IRC account with TL account to make the ban global (IRC+TL.net) would be great. That way its also reduce the amount of trolls who just register new nicks under proxy IP and feed...

Sorry I just started in the league as well so the teams weren't properly balanced. It was mostly on your enigma for not helping in the 2v3 early-game though.
I do agree that there's too much bm in it from what I've seen. Usually these leagues are super strict.

| It's an open league not a vouch league, can't ban for not buying chicks/wards and besides most games are -cm the captain or someone else should sort that out. I've never had that problem in games I've played. New players who want to try -cm might not realise to buy chick/wards and stuff that's just the way it's gotta be. |

The Yasha makes very little sense to me, yeah, but there's logic behind getting the Sange. It's roughly 7 gold per HP compared to Vanguard's 8.9. So it's a bit more efficient if you're just interested in raw HP; too, it's also more HP - 304 to 250. If you want bulk up a bit, and you're ok with forgoing the regen, then Sange is better than Vanguard.
I sorta like it. The extra movement speed is quite handy when it comes to running around for ganks, and the maim can be useful since it goes through a BKB, even if its RNG.

Your post suggest that you've only played a single game of TLIH, which is quite a small sample size. So regarding your comments on manners, I'll tell you that the vast majority of my games with the TLIH bot (31), have been quite fine - keep in mind that I haven't played a single !pro game, so these games have all been completely open. Of course you're going to have some rotten apples in there, but not as frequently as in matchmaking games (depending on rating I suppose).
Regarding the quality of the games on the bot, as was already mentioned the league is open, so the level of play is going to depend entirely on the players that sign up. And let me put it this way: If the level of play is much lower than what you normally experience, you're going to crush games until you can !add pro, after which the games should be at least pretty decent.
The loophole in the report system you described does indeed exist (at least theoretically), but I haven't experienced anyone abusing voice yet - and if it happens, I'd expect that the mods would find that the claims of 4 people against one (on different occasions?) merit a ban, even in the absence of explicit evidence.
The temp ban for no courier / wards is silly, and I have yet to hear anything about intentional feeding, you're probably mistaking not being good with griefing - you have to consider that in some games, you'll have the players at the very bottom vs. some of the best, which is admittedly going to result in a lot of deaths ("!add pro" would help alleviate this, if it's a problem for you).

| I don't understand why people are complaining about TL Bot games. I really did not like the bot games when they came out. But they are for the better. It is better then MM and you can find really good games. Yes their are stomps and their are players who are really bad. But you get to pick a organized team. Also everyone I have seen complaining about the bot games are on par skill wise with the people who can't get 60 creepscore in 12 minutes in a free farm lane. I was the first person to openly bring a discussion about the bot games about player skills and it in general. It was discussed to death. |

I don't know why people expect TL IH to be a great collection of amazing/pro Dota2 players. It's as unreasonable as randomly picking 10 people in TL for SC2 and expecting all of them to be Masters level.
The DB to NP (douchebag to normal people) ratio is pretty much the same.
I tend to steer away TL IH to avoid expecting good players and being disappointed. I'd rather just solo queue MM and be pleasantly surprised with good teammates every once in a while. |

| It's no NADL, but your evaluation skills are not up to bar if you see TLIH as an equivalent to pubbing. Just because you played a game that was one sided doesn't mean it's as bad as pubs. |

It is the nature of open invite IH's though, ever since the start of TLIH's when there were less than 500 concurrent players online you are going to have good players, average players, and bad players, and then you balance the teams as much as you can but then some people will be making 80% mistakes, feeding to the good players depending on how the lanes are, etc. One team will have their good players in support and the other willl have one good player on a semicarry and that makes a difference. IH's are always more one sided and in the end the skill disparity from top to bototm is MUCH wider than in matchmaking that generally matches you in ELO.
This is why I always do matchmaking and only prefer matchmaking over IH's, best case scenario being matchmaking as a group of 4/5 with people you are familiar and friends with. I never solo queue. |

just to clarify it was not my first game in TLIH... I have played in there several times for the past month and the experience is just worse and worse. About the league being open: i thought there are a practice league/games for the noobs to practice with? If so the rules i suggested are not too much isnt it? Also since its captainmode, perma ban the captain and temp ban the team members sounds good?

The TLIH is open to everyone, in captains mode with a half decent captain on both sides people can get a taste of what it is to play in proper CM mode, because AP is absolutely terrible and alot different then CM mode, there are alot of pubstars who think they are awesome at the game but have never played CM, for those its a whole new experience.
You won't find high level games there, go to NADL or whatever other inhouse league you want, we don't ban people for being bad here and it is not a vouch league. AP MM is alot different from IH, and IH is ALOT different from scrims, however each of these give a different experience. You also only played 7 games so perhaps you should give it more of a try, if you are looking for a high level IH, look somewhere else, if you are looking for scrims, look somewhere else. The IH is open to everyone, and it will stay that way. The best you can do is work up till 30 TSR and try the ''pro'' list, more then often closer games happen there, you can also play against Buugi (and sometimes his friends) then, if you so desire ^^.
On the BH/Shadow shaman note, When did you ever see BH get more play then Shadow Shaman in the banning/picking stage?Even since the latest buffs, Shadow shaman still (in dota 2 atleast) gets more play.Last edit: 2012-02-29 06:07:53 |

What Kipsate has stated above is pretty much 100% true. But on the BH vs SS part it is what is phasing in and out. SS you can deal with. But BH is amazing carry in regards damage output how much money he brings in for the team etc. He is a ganker who can transition into a carry. He also can side-lane solo verse most of the considered best Side-Lane solos. BH can be their at 15minute team-fights and kill people where Void or AM can't. |

Picks game 1 were so weird...
Lycan, DK, and ES not banned or picked. DK let Panda get CK+Bat as 2nd pick, and then took Axe in the first round of picks.

| I dislike the fact that BH pretty much needs good midgame(good ganks/kills) in order to transition into a good carry, he is also fairly squishy I feel and has no real survivability outside of his regular stealth and 20% track speed(which admittedly is fast but its not a real escape). If he gets a few good ganks, he can snowball VERY fast(and provide gold for his supports, which is not to be underestimated at all) but I feel like he is a bit unreliable. |
