its not about how hard you try to win that make you a good player. If you have played dota at competitive level, you should be able to tell how good a player is just based on their camera+mouse movement as well as their heroes positioning. So far, i have learn nothing new from normal streamers. Sing and dendi (and demon when he actually play seriously) do however impress me time to time with a lot of their decision making in game.
For example, escaping from a gank, a normal person would just run back to base, sing however would go in jungle hoping to dodge sunstrike. Dendi will try to squeeze out a kill while time for rune while demon will stack up the creep camp when ever he is close to them. These sort of move take YEARS of experience to be able to pull off, just small, good habits eventually stacked up to improve you as a player. These habits also separate the pro from the amateur to a certain extend. Try to watch DK.burning last hitting while keeping the lane static despite towers and catapult influence in just phenomenal. No one will teach you these things, in fact, all the things people could taught you are stuff you could look up in wiki, not the experience they have gained after play the game for years :-/ |

| Yeah the ganks sing sometimes calls are mindbogling. He just sits there and suddenly is like "I'm getting ganked here" Ofc it's from watching the minimap but it still is impressive how well he calls it and he ussually does that just a few seconds before the enemy goes out from fog, with really good timing. Similar thing i've seen when white ra played, when he would look at an army and be like "it's ok" and win having only 3 units left, his game sense was just crazy. At some point you just feel the game, you read it like a book and at this point it's the begginers that just started the game a month ago are the hardest for you to deal with because they do such crazy shit |

Because in competitive games you know you can rely on your team to not give up a huge lead in the time span your Midas earns itself back. I wouldn't ever get it on a pub furion unless a) I know I can rely on my team to a certain extent or b) I can get it before 9 mins. Most pubs are decided midgame. |

Uninstalled LoL for the final never, never looking back. serious dota 2 time. as long as the game works when i try to alt tab damnit... lol

Just play in windowed + fullscreen modus. Best way there is to play in every game! |

fullscreen + windowed since 2 months and I haven't noticed a difference except the faster switches |

But the best thing about switching from LoL to DotA is laughing your ass off when you play a game a few months later and realise how bad it is!

Well i've been playing both. LoL with friends and dota by myself (they don't have keys).
Friends challenged me to get my solo queue rank in LoL to what it was season 1 (they didn't believe me) i got 3/4 there and just decided the game isn't worth it. so i quit and uninstalled. xD now i'm trying to get them to use the couple keys i gave them ect. it's not that LoL is bad, it's that there is no organized inhouse system like in dota. that was the problem for me. |
