Sniper can hold it well if BKB is inappropriate. If they have A lineup like beast, enigma, and/or a lot of autoattack damage, and you will die with BKB anyway. So MoM lets you run away faster, and means you do more while you aren't running.
...But sniper should never be picked
What is the origin of the term "ricing"? (meaning farming a lot?)Last edit: 2012-06-16 20:59:38 |

MoM is an item I get only on naix. Armlet, phase, MoM and right click someone. Free gold. Really effective strat I stole from SingSing :D |

| MoM will be good for Slark, the little Murloc once he's in Dota 2, and it's also a great item for heroes with bash passives like Bara and Void. I'd say it's situational for high damage heroes like Riki, Tiny and Sven but they got other options that are possibly better if they can farm. |

it's not a very good item cus 30% damage is a lot it can be used situationally on a handful of heroes but seriously 30% is a lot |

| When do you build Ghost Scepter/Ethereal Blade and how do you use it? It wasn't in the game yet when I stopped playing DotA1, and I haven't it seen it in a pubgame in the ~8 months I play DotA2 yet, but now Korok just rushed it on Morphling. |

Ethereal Blade is common specifically on Morph because combined with Adaptive Strike and morphing high Agility, it allows Morphling to have extremely high burst damage.
Other than Morph, finishing E-Blade tends to be somewhat rare. Ghost Scepter, on the other hand, is a frequent buy on many heroes (typically supports, but also can be used on other heroes) in situations involving dangerous heroes that are heavily autoattack-dependent (it's a decent choice for supports to buy Ghost Scepter against heroes like Spirit Breaker, Clinkz, or Ursa to make it harder for them to find easy kill targets during a fight). Also, since heroes with auto-castable orbs can manual-cast those orbs even with Ghost Scepter active, it can be a good survivability item for those heroes as well. |

| It's more commonly seen on Leshrac when the opposite team lacks in magic nuke or if you can't farm a bkb. Pop it then edict/nova then split earth. |

The sound is roughly the same as when you cut down rice. Swish, swish or close to it. At least in DotA. |

There's already matches almost every day - of course there won't be as many games as SC2 since it's a 5v5 game that takes way longer per game. |

Even with the logistics of a 5v5 game, I still think organisations like Playhem and ESL can do daily stuff, which would do a lot for up and coming teams. |

| I read on a DotaFire guide that I should be using Nature's Prophet's ulti as often as possible, but someone in game told me that I should stop using it so often because it made it difficult for everyone else to farm. Which should I listen to/ When should I be using this skill? |

Don't use it as often as possible unless you're the main carry and the game is really low level. Use it when you need to defend a tower, are pushing, or your team is ganking. |
