It is also cheaper.
You can also pass things such as a darkseer wall without triggering it. It's also slightly more convenient to reach a desired destination, since you don't have to make sure you're facing the right way.

I assume an invite is a "Steam Item", where you use it and you gain access to the game and the Beta Key is a code where I have to enter it in somewhere and will gain access to the game.
If I am correct why do I see people putting more value on the beta key rather than invite? A beta key could already be used while a beta invite surely wouldn't be otherwise it wouldn't still be an item on steam?

There is no MM information, it works decently. Levels are worthless, no benefit to getting them unless you intend to farm for cosmetic items.
Husky did a video on the interface, although it is slightly outdated, most of the things are still relevant:
Battle point levels are gained through acquiring (you guessed it) battle points. Battle points are awarded to played when a game is over, the longer the game was, the more battle points you gain (I'm not 100% on this part). Each game seems to average at around 50 points. 1k points are required to level up, and every time you level up you are awarded a cosmetical item.
Matchmaking uses a hidden rating system, so players have very limited insight as to how they are ranked. However, there seem to be two methods to vaguely estimate you skill. The first one is simply doing a search of your own name in the recent games tab, and while doing this filter by either low, medium or high skill, and then looking under which skill level your most recent games are. Note that this is still a quite crude method, for example, you might be still ranked as "high" if you're "only" just above 67% of the playerbase.
The other method is based on how the watch live games list is displayed. Since the highest ranked games are the top of page 1, and then descend in rating as you go down and onto later pages, you have somewhat of an idea of how you stack up, based on which page you're on. This extremely unpractical if you're not on the first 5 pages.
Lastly you should try to avoid leaving games before they are over, or before you see "this game is now safe to leave" in red text inside the game (happens when a player has abandoned the game), in case you disconnect you have 5 minutes (more if people pause) to reconnect before it counts as an abandon. If you abandon too many games, you will be placed into the low priority pool temporarily, where finding a game can take significantly longer, in addition to the games being worse.
I hope this answers some of your questions, if not feel free to ask/pm.
Thanks for the explanation. But I don't really have specific questions. Jut searching some information. My first 3 games were really easy, against "bad" players, I went 22-0 with nevermore in my 4tht game and now I see that I am getting better opponents. However, I seem to level at the same rate. But it is ok, I am just going to grind some games. I became so bad at this game. Used to be one of the better guys on Dotaleague.

No. It used to be good, but van has been nerfed, especially for ranged heroes, so that it is no longer worth it. Instead, go drums (drums be amazing on razor), but feel free to get the RoH first for laning if you need it, since razors will normally build pipe. If their team doesn't have much magic damage (aka they went the famous 5 melee carry pub strat) and you still need regen for laning, you can go tranquil boots instead and change them into phase later.
The only barrier to truth is the presumption that you already have it. It's through our pane (pain) we window (win though).

It's easier to get to the exact position you want to land on; using force staff you you have to look in that direction and know the exact distance. Blink dagger is (according to me) an offensive item while force staff is more defensive.
I like it for DS if I jungle and want arcane boots for my team. Otherwise I feel like soul ring and tranquil boots or naked ring into pipe is the smarter choice. Also drums, tranquil boots, and pms seem to be completely better for most other heroes that used to go vanguard. Even characters like AM and Spectre can just go pms, naked vit booster, and then ring for AM or tranq for Spectre.
I still like it on Viper and Razor. But it's really good on NS. (get it on razor and go 1v3 like a man ezpz) Axe, Clockwerk, Doom, Brewmaster and Slardar can all get Vanguard :D

Why on earth would you get a vanguard on brewmaster

When you're too fat to blink. Saw Link do it, he couldn't farm blink dagger safely, so it helped him to survive stuns.

Vanguard is essentially an item of convenience. You get it if you're going to get the parts individually, and have a good-but-fragile momentum going that you don't want to lose by sitting on component items for a while before your next big item finishes.
Nobody should *plan* around getting Vanguard at this point.

Vit+Hood is 10000x better on ranged heroes. You don't get any extra HP from Vanguard, and the block is extraordinarily weak for ranged. Turn Hood into Pipe later and Vit into Heart.

Except there's a bunch of other items that are better for that that are also way more useful for Brewmaster in the long run: Janggo, Vlad's, Point Booster (to turn into Agh's), Plate Mail (to turn into Cuirass later), etc.
