IdrA loses a match: "lol he's no good anymore"
He didn't lose to some random Master's league NA player. He made it to the finals and lost 2-3 to a TSL member.
Series was pretty good. IdrA was behind for ages in the last game and made a game of it. He saw the unsieged tanks and took a shot before he lost his new 3rd. It didn't work and that's the game. |

he's right. Roaches melt to tanks because they stack too easily and don't move fast enough. IdrA's late game ZvT is phenomenal and Heart never really gave him the chance to show it
It's not really how phenomenal his late game is. He just makes infestor broodlord which is very hard to counter lol |

They do fine on creep for cost, but not for supply...
that's true, but you can get stuck with roaches and they max out your supply too quickly. And then you get on 4-5 bases and have a very immobile army unless you put nydus worms at every base. So eventually defending drops and such because much more difficult when you go heavy roach.
Ling/bane/muta gives you that mobility that allows you to harass and prevent 3rd's/4ths from going up from the terran, if you go roach you just sit and wait for them to come |

People have been saying this for quite some time. There's a grain of truth to it, but obviously he's not bad, or terrible, or whatever. IdrA's skill has dipped outside Korea, there's no way around it. |

I don't think infestor openings are very good at all. Did you see how much the threat of the blue flame hellion damaged Idra? He was behind in supply for nearly the whole game, because blue flame hellions are just hanging around outside his base. Infestor openings dont exactly
help vs that and that siege push follow up will surely set up a deadly contain and as long as Terran doesn't clump, or better, builds bunkers, I don't see how Zerg can take map dominance back, unless he destroys that army (in which it is a free win) |

Tbh, who has a good record vs Koreans atm? The fact that Idra has faced so many is indicative that he is placing high enough in tournaments to face them. Naniwa, Ret, Thorzain, all eu players except Mana, all NA players have terrible records vs Koreans (except PvP) and especially vs KR Terran, foreigners look absolutely hopeless. |

As you absolutely correct stated is IdrA at the moment in a bad phase, you might even call it a crysis if you will
But still that doesn't mean he's not good any more. I'm sure he will get back to his old shape soon enough.
And who would you consider to be a "top foreigner" then? I think that Koreans just dominate pretty much everything atm |

K then. He lost to naniwa thorzain ret and mana and nerchio. But I guess NA players are hopeless against EU so that doesn't count either. |

Are YOU kidding? He had an opportunity to engage that well and take a lead by efficiently killing a whole army perhaps. Heart was like 7 supply ahead.

-_- IdrA is by no means bad- he is definitely a top foreigner. However there is some truth in that he is not as comparatively good as he was when he left Korea and Code S and was ro. 16. Its k, he's going back and even if he can't beat Koreans consistently, he'll improve a lot. Heart is no slouch, and people have got to calm down. Every time IdrA plays a game, lovers lover and haters hate, and it is kinda annoying how polarizing it is. |

| I definitely hope to see Idra improve once he reaches Korea, because based off these games alone he's definitely only a shadow of his former skill. You only have to look at some of the desperate or non-efficient pushes he made against the marine + tank combos in these games to see that he's not making the best decision overall. Most striking was in game 2 on metalopolis where he pushed up the ramp into his third against some pretty entrenched forces with only a few meager banelings. Entire thing made me just cringe watching it. |

Heart is no slouch, nor is making top 2 in that tournament. Slayersdragon, Slayersgolden and Ranged all got knocked out well before the finals, heck even making it to the finals is quite difficult.
