Hey guys,
So I'm just trying to feel out what kind of interest there is for Barcraft around the Dusseldorf/Cologne area of Germany.
I want to put something together for MLG this weekend, but with it being such short notice, I'm not entirely sure that I can make it happen.
Regardless of whether or not we can get organized in time for Raleigh, I promise you guys that I have long-term plans for regular Barcraft stuffs around here, but I need to know
1.) How many people would come
2.) What area you guys prefer (Koln/Dusseldrof)

i think i can motivate like 5-10 guys in cologne,
and i think, that cologne is a much better location then dusseldorf.

One more bump at 10AM Germany time. Maybe some of you noobs who like to lurk from work will see it this time.
Doesn't look like we'll be doing anything for Raleigh, but I've scoped a place that is all for the idea for future events.

There's a pretty killer Irish pub in the Altstadt that hosts a months expat meetup that I've been thinking about hosting a Barcraft event at. Maybe we could get in touch with them and see if they'd be interested in hosting something.
Oh, just saw that you already found a place. Never mind  .
I think it might be too late to do anything for Raleigh, though. I'm not sure how successful barcraft for an American event would be in any case, given the time difference. I can't be the only one who doesn't relish the idea of staying out until 2:30am plus the inevitable delays on a Sunday night to catch the finals.Last edit: 2011-08-25 18:35:25 |

| I'm heavily interested in this idea. Although I'd prefer the Düsseldorf region I wouldn't mind coming to Cologne also. I would bring like 3-5 friends with me then. |

This is a really great idea. I would prefere Düsseldorf region, as well.
I think there are a lot of other guys interested in this, but not reading this thread.
You could post this on taketv.net or other german sc2 comunity-websites, too. There are many german guys in these forums and probably many living in Düsseldorf/Cologne region. |

I would have to drive 2/3 hours and borrow a car somewhere, other than that i would love to be able to stop by there sometimes and watch SC2 with all of you!

Opened a thread on taketv.net (click) in German. Since quite a high amount of taketv.net users come from the Krefeld region they could also be interested in Barcraft in Düsseldorf/Cologne region. I will send you some english summaries of the answers via PM.
It would also be nice if someone could bring that idea into other german communities.
