Question: for Barbarian Shouts, do they override each other or can you have multiple ones active?
I.E. I have Battle Rage active. If I use War Cry, will they stack, or will War Cry override the Battle Rage?

I'm lvl 37 playing quest 2 in act 2 nightmare.

When I try to join public games I can only find up to quest 8 in act 1. Why?

Does anyone know what kind of abilities allow you to get out of roots? Some enemies (mostly with the "Jailer" suffix) will lock you down, and some abilities allow you to get out of it (Mirror Image by the Sorcerer/ess for example).

Is there a special category of skills that allows this? Or is there a list somewhere?

Also, does anyone know if there's a special formula to how all the attributes of different classes are leveled up? I think WD and Sorcs should get more Intelligence on level-up then Strength, for example, but I'm not sure how much and if it's always a fixed amount at each level.

And last: Is there a maximum amount of sockets that an item can have?

@heishe: As far as I know there is no skill that allow you to break root. But there is item with attribute to reduce the time you are being rooted

You auto level up, you cant chose to add str/int/dex/vit as D2

No Vaelone, you're correct. Serenity removes roots, stuns and freezes. Not sure if it breaks those "special grabs" from (Act 3&4 spoiler) + Show Spoiler + though.

I dont really have the time to dig through the whole thread, so im sorry if this has been asked before...

im am very confused about the way damage is calculated in D3. Is there any way to see the damage range of your skills, not in terms of x% of weapon damage but in actual numbers, other then turning on the option to display damage done to enemies (which may factor resistances and other unknown factors)? Also, what weapon properties influence skill damage exactly? Is it DPS or raw damage, ie. should i equip weapons with more DPS or with more attack damage? If a weapon has increased damage or elemental damage ie +x cold damage, does this also increase my skill damage?

For those that have the Angel Wings, do you have to equip them every game you join or every time you die? For me every time I join a game or even dying in a battle, I would have to equip the angel wings again. Is there an option that I'm missing that you can just keep them equip just like your normal gear? I would like to see them on the character display screen prior to joining a game screen also if all possible.

Hope you guys can help me out on this situation or have an answer for me. Thanks in advance.

Do I get the bonus if a companion wields a "bonus to exp"-weapon? If so, do I always get the bonus or is it only if the companion does the killing?

How do you decide between selling a magic/rare item and salvaging it?
