That's why this Protoss style is much better than robo first imo, not only is Colossus a legit transition regardless, but you really have a chance to find a great timing window where your opponent is late reacting to double robo Colossus. The Terran is always going to add ghosts in to a late game army even if you went Colossus first so your templar transition is less effective, but if they start on ghosts they are never going to blind build vikings.
You just need good map awareness so you can split your army to defend drops when necessary, and don't get stuck on zealot/archon or some dumb shit like that that gets absolutely roflstomped by a handful of ghosts with a decent bio ball.
