I tried and i cant watch ur last video either. Check Xsplit when u start broadcasting , make sure u are able to see the numbers of Kbps on Xsplit. For me sometimes when i click broadcast i see like 20kbps, than goes to 10kbps than 4kbps and than the numbers dissapear. With it i know that i am live but my screen is fully black and nothing is beeing broadcasted. I think this is because of how far away i am from the servers and sometimes it may not be able to establish the connection. I might be wrong though.
Mine does that sometimes to but think its just a bug with xsplit or something. Eh not a big deal I just restart the stream and it works again so whatever ^^. |

Hm its with the program itself xsplit not a web browser. We're talking about we start the stream broadcast and it starts at 10 or whatever kbps then lowers till it isn't there and you have to restart otherwise the stream will stay black. |

It's a watermark - it's a reminder to you that the software isn't free. Buy the software and it will be removed. |

Hey, this worked the first time for me with StarCraft II
Then I switched to a game like TF2 and it no longer worked. I tried reloading the program and then adding camera -> DXTory Video 1 and then pressed F12 (it went orange) but it didn't show any video on xsplit and I couldn't stream any actual video.
Figured it out. Profile set for one game aren't set for others, I still get a lot of stuttering when I stream TF2, is there something wrong with that game or something?Last edit: 2011-10-18 04:34:01 |

Can you help me with the settings? Before DXtory, I had 0 lag or hitches with the game.
I played a 3v3 today and it froze on me twice for a few moments, other than that, I believe this really works, however I would like to iron out some of the problems. Maybe it's my XSplit settings, I can't seem to find a middle ground.
Can you suggest a good place to start testing?
My upload is 3.1mb 3.4 ghz quad-core Phenom II x4 1920x1080 Monitor resolution, but I stream at 1280 x 720.
Frame rate is 29.97 Default Preset Quality: Not Set Max Bitrate: 2700 VBV buffer: 3500 Resolution: default
Audio: 22.050 16 bit stereo 3200 |

So does anyone have any tipps running a 720p stream with a super low bandwith?! Since the OP got a "bit less" good looking quality then i have with even less bandwith"
I managed it to look nearly like 720p ... with my 0,77 uploadrate
But the problem is it sometimes spikes and gets my ping from ~60-80 to 300+
Running @
Preset Slow Quality 10 Max Bitrate 620 Buffer 1240 22 khz stereo with 32000 bitrate
Running @ 20 Fps
Thanks! |

I do think that this is caused by your CPU. 3v3 is a lot more CPU intensive than 1v1. |

You are lagging because u are having 620 kbps given to xplit and while xsplit may use up to even 750 and those are the moments where you are going to lag or get spikes. As well with 620 kbps i am more than sure you are having a bit more ms ingame than while not streaming which isnt very good.
Reduce to 500-550 tops and see what results you will get.
Edit : And yes you have better quality because u have bumped 620kbps and aswell you have 20 fps stream , not 30. Always prioritize ur gaming b4 the stream. If you lag and spike and you cant control you army , macro properly than you will lose almost every game which it wouldnt be entertaining for people to watch you . 20 fps will cause less artifacts while streaming with such a low upload speed than the 30 fps.
See what you can do and report please.

It didn't become choppy when I did it without DXtory. I get more choppiness when I do it with DXTory, the quality was supremely higher with it, but I got so much choppiness from games I usually don't.
I'm looking to try and fit DXtory in, but also be able to play the games I typically can play.Last edit: 2011-10-18 11:00:33 |

Wait a second .. You are telling me that when you are not streaming you arent getting any lag or when you are streaming but using only xsplit?
If its the 1st one , i will stick to my answer. If its the 2nd one than i`ll have to think about why you are gettin stutters/choppyness while using dxtory. |

Just Xsplit = No lag, no choppiness, just unrefined quality sadly ):
With DXtory = More choppiness.
I feel like I just need to figure out what settings I need for DXtory (I followed your guide(s)) and XSplit.Last edit: 2011-10-18 11:58:02 |

Hey, really nice guide, thank you!
Do you know if it's any way to stream full screen games using dxtory? I'm not talking about SC2 because I know you can do it just fine with the windowed full screen option, but unfortunately most games don't have that.
Thanks. |

Dxtory is made for this You can stream fullscreen games without any problems.
@Torte de Lini I really didnt expect Xsplit itself to not lag u but having Dxtory with it to lag your game out. Tonight i think i`ll have some spare time , please PM me every single configuration in dxtory requred for streaming + every settings you are using on xsplit. PM those i`ll see what i can do. |

I followed your guide and tested a few things, I got a black screen with Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 and Limbo in fullscreen. In windowed mode it works fine. I haven't tested other games yet but I just assumed that it'd be the same no matter what game.
Intertestingly enough using just xsplit without dxtory I can stream those games in full screen (no black screen). The option "Enable game source" is not checked. I thought it wasn't possible to stream games in full screen with xsplit.Last edit: 2011-10-18 19:55:40 |

Pardon me for jumping in here. I had something like that happen to me at first. What solved it for me, was to completely make a new "presentation" in XSplit. There was something bad in the old presentation, so I started over from scratch which solved it for me. It's quick to test - remember you can save your current presentation so you can reload it if you want.Last edit: 2011-10-19 01:18:30 |

Hmm okay i tried to do so ... but it still shoots up all the ways to 700kbps+ wich gives me 200+ ping ingame (HoN) so its basicly the same @ 550
Isnt there a way to stop xsplit from spiking? Its all good if its slightly above 600ish kbps
Take care too so mannered
