About It's not first mobile app that offers you to view your ladder, but it is first for WP7. (I think?) And that is also reason I decided to do this. I have been struggling to keep myself in top8 in platinum league. So I wanted some easy way to check my current rank.. and this app offers that.
Please, post any questions, ideas or feedback to this thread.

idea: port it to an operating system that has users x) i don't know anybody at all who has a wp7 phone. i guess i know about 5 androids, 8 iphones, 4 webOs, but i don't know anybody with wp7.
also the red background for the logos doesn't fit very well, but that seems to depend on your system settings? (never seen wp7 in action) if not, blue would fit better imo. more bnet styled, matches the logos better.

Why would he port it? I think the point was that there is nothing on WP7, so he made something for WP7

Thankyou sir, I am actually one of those few people with a WP7, and this will be very useful!
|
Thanks a bunch, i will be using this

That's like saying "Can't people just wash their dishes manually instead of buying a dishwasher?". You can log in through the browser, this is just much more convenient and has an interface that's more smartphone friendly than the browser.

So you live in some strange world where there are more webos users than Windows Phone users? Seriously? Also remember making a windows phone app now, means that with minor change you can compile it for windows 8.
The theme color is user selected and applications shouldn't mess with them, bnet color or no.
|
To answer some of your questions... - It's for WP7 because I know how to code for it and theres no other app like this available currently - That color comes from phones theme
I'm currently working with new version, it's almost ready. Need to check for bugs and so on. I'll try to submit it to marketplace after Blizzcon.
Changes and fixes for v1.1: - Support for Favorites (kinda like Friends), add any player and view his/hers ladder and match history - Portraits, with animated tile - Background agent for updating Live tile - Fixed bug with Xel'Naga Caverns and Tal'Darim altar names
|
Version 1.1 is now available from Windows Phone Marketplace and should automatically update for existing users. Two major changes. First is support for favorites. Now you can add your friends and favorite pro players and easily see their ladder. Second is background agent for live tile. What this means is that now you can choose to enable automatic updates for live tile thats binded in main screen. Minor changes - Added portrait images. You can now tap user in 1v1 ladder, and view his/hers ladder. Fixed bug with map names like Xel'Naga Caverns and Tal'Darim Altar.
Favorites screen
1.1 - Animated portrait tile - Support for favorites - Background agent for updating live tile, enable from settings - Fixed bug with map names
-------
I would love to get some feedback from current users. Is there something you don't like, something you would like to see in this app.. anything. I received couple questions about favorites/friends, so I decided to add that first. I also received questions about viewing your achievements. Im not sure about that, but I will see if theres some nice way to add that too.

omgggggggggggg. Finally! something for my W7Phone T_T

Time for little bump. Update to 1.2 is out. No big changes, but some fixes. You can now view your favorites 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 ladder, instead of just their rank. Added Home button to ladder view.
1.2 - Favorites now support viewing ladder - Home button for favorite page - Fixed bug with match history, tie didn't display icon - Added missing portraits, StarCraft Master and PanTerran Marine
-----
All you new Lumia owners out there, time to load some Starcraft 2 data to your phone
|
Add it to iOS and Andriond market bro =)
|
New version is out, 1.3. Now you can create secondary tile, to display one of your leagues. Also you can choose what league to display in main tile.
1.3 - Create secondary tile - Choose what to display in tiles

This is actually really cool. Obv there aren't many people who use WP7 but still, great design / UI / features!
|
This looks really shiny. I'm a huge fan of the WP7 metro UI. :3
Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

I assumed WP7 was terrible until I used a friend's. It's really snappy, looks great, etc. Thinking about buying one for my next phone.
Anyways, well done, this app looks great. Maybe I'll get to use it someday ^_^

App now works with 1.5 patch. Blizzard had done some big changes to their website. Took some time to rewrite code and also Microsoft had some problems with certifying update. But update is now out. Should be pushed automatically to old users via Marketplace.
It was really nice to receive few emails asking if I could fix the app. Sorry that it took this long to get update out.
