"great forcefields"
"epic"
there's a time and place for everything but i think most casters have no idea when to use these two terms |

This. People need to stfu and stop being a little girl about "oh when they say devastating it upsets me because it's so annoying.." garbage. This is a useless thread. Casters know better than you what things are oversaid and if they wanted to do something about it they don't need a 20 page tear thread to help them. |

Why people keep making stupid threads instead of supporting the casters. Ok, let's imagine a world without these common spoken phrases:
DOA + MOLETRAP = shit |

This thread is pretty damn pointless. A lot of the things people are complaining about is either there to generate excitement or describe something that cannot be described in a better way (e.g. "Overextending").
I dunno why people feel the need to complain about a caster's vocab. Have you ever tried to watch a game without commentary? It's pretty damn dry unless you are watching it purely for the sake of learning and not entertainment. These people are doing the community a huge favor by casting these games purely for our entertainment so please stop complaining about them.
Basically if you don't like what vocab a caster uses then don't watch that caster or simply mute them so you can watch the game. |

| I love Day[9]'s analysis of games but I absolutely hate his commentary at events. "OH MY GOD THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!" but all he did was siege walk up a ramp...or "Oh no look at that he forgot (x) critical thing." |

This is probably the only thing in this thread I agree with, and it's not even that I dislike it, but it just doesn't make any sense. Where the hell did that term originate? |

you should probably be a caster, seeing as you know how to do it better than tasteless and artosis you should definitely give it a shot.
personally i think artosis is probably the only caster who aint scared to call a game when its over, what riles me is when i hear a caster try to drag out a game and make it seem equal when its a one sided hulk smash |

One thing I don't like is when someone is overly critical of a player. Most people judge the players on what the casters say and that just seems really unfair to me.
Another thing is saying "where are these units coming from?" or "what incredible macro". I think it was Bomber vs Idra when Bomber was pumping reactored marines off like 10+ barracks. Of course there's going to be a lot of marines he has like 10 rax, and then people overly praise him for having better macro than everyone else when I'm sure any of these progamers can do the same thing. |

Macro also means that you know when to build the reactors and ccs and that you have enough to survive the times when you build a reactor on every rax. |

| The only thing that bothers me a lot is when casters call normal blink micro, fungal growths, storms, snipes AMAZING. There are amazing versions of these, and then normal - not amazing - versions. |

| They definitely use "lining them up" too much. I get that their excited so they aren't paying as much attention to what they're saying, but we're still listening to them so that stuff can get irksome. |
