[A] HotS Custom

What feedback? We watched a couple battle reports where, instead of playing to win, the opponents played to showcase new units. They're not keeping an ear out for any kneejerk reactions posted on Bnet or TL forums, so don't fret about the beta being delayed.

In the gamespot video that went up today one of the devs specifically said they'd be listening to feedback from everyone checking it out at MLG and also looking for problematic or abusive issues. If there was nothing big he said they'd be aiming to start getting the beta build ready in a couple of weeks and then get it out in a month or so.

So they very much are on the lookout to see how it goes down this weekend and they're prepared to make changes if necessary which could delay the beta slightly.

Please for the love of all that is good update this map. I played about 20 games of HOTS at MLG and I need more.

After checking out his post history it looks like he was pretty busy with stuff and probably still is, just give him some time. I'm sure he'll be back, too much love for his work

Would be a great opportunity to open source this if the creator doesn't have time. It isn't like there will be much future in the project past beta anyways, and it could be quickly patched up if it was made available.

Why? What is starting from scratch?

EDIT: Well at this point, if someone is willing to redo the whole mod. They are more than welcome. I am not complaining as long as this gets updated soon.

I don't think it needs to be redone from scratch, and if had to be, did xenox101 tell you this? The viper is hardly changed, just copy pasta the overseer in WoL back into the mod and remove the parasite ability from the viper and replace it with consume. The swarm host only needs to have their minions changed to 3 range and attack air and ground. The current tempest just needs a range adjustment, no splash damage and a range upgrade. The oracle already has a working entomb, it just needs cloaking field and the other ability needs to detect units. Mothership core could take some work, but it's doable, just put in a scaled down WoL momma ship as a placeholder for the core and give it the abilities already on the nexus in the current mod with adjustments. etc etc....

I think it could happen, just gonna take some time for xenox to put in the work, if he wants to.

In custom maps write in search bar "hots" and you will see
