Here's something I don't get about this change.
I understand hitting the leash range to deal with issues of being able to flash out of it.

The cast is always shorter than the leash because it allows for lag (which causes a number of issues in and of itself, but I digress). The nerf probably in range probably had something to do with the fact that Nocturnes can presently ult in > q the target and shield, preventing any counterplay, and still easily hit the fear. This makes it more difficult to pull off, rather than smashing your face on every button.
Also it nerfs his <6 gank since landing a Q guarantees E or flash unless they're already at tower and landing E is guaranteed death.Last edit: 2011-11-15 18:16:42 |

I foresee alot more wards in my inventory as the AP mid of my team.
Flash isnt nerfed as bad as I expected tho. Still not sure about surge or teleport, im addicted to teleport for ganks. |

Supports need CV + escape since every support has no mobility and alistar/taric need to be able to flash CC

Top's these days usually get TP, especially in competitive play, as it gives them so much control over objectives against teams who don't have TP. The only tops who don't get flash/ghost have to get exhaust/ignite, but tp+exhause/ignite is a rarity I doubt I've ever seen. Probably will see tops with free mobility go cleanse/tp cleanse/exhaust.

About Fizz, he doesn't seem like he's viable at low levels since he's supposed to be squishy, but at high levels, in small fights he can dodge spells. So if you have the reflexes and game sense, you can dodge a lot of spells increasing your survivability.
He doesn't add anything that other champions didn't have though.
Xerath is unique in that he is a long ranged mage that deals tons of damage.
Graves is unique in that he's an AD carry that can blind the enemy team and he has amazing burst. Like I don't think vayne, caitlyn, cogmaw, or tristana have a burst attack quite like his buckshot.
I don't see fizz as unique, and the shark bursting out of land is just silly XD... Like when rumble dies and he ejects with no parachute.
Someone raised the point today that tryndamere might be overpowered now that he can cleanse ignite, and with a QSS will never die to poison ticks again. :/ I guess he can still be countered by bursting him down before he thinks you can so he can't use his ult.Last edit: 2011-11-15 18:26:39 |

Does that Flash range nerf actually make it so you can't jump over walls etc? or is the nerf basically purely to make it worse at just putting distance between you and your opponent?
