Seriously though, someplace near VCU would be perfect, and I'm not just saying that because it's the most accessible place to me. VCU is the heart of Richmond.  |

| There's already a Barcraft DC so one near George Mason isn't really needed. The one in DC is the closest one to Richmond and that's 2 hours away. It's only 30 from GMU to DC. |

Exactly. We need a Richmond barcraft that's actually IN Richmond; like I said, VCU is the heartbeat of the city (especially considering they're fond of buying buildings and re purposing them...)

Barcraft Richmond poster check your PM!
Awesome news everyone! I just got in touch with the GM from Buffalo Wild Wings in Richmond and they said they would be willing to host a barcraft for us! They just need to make sure it isn't conflicting with their big game day schedules! They said that usually Friday and Saturday nights are slow for them so it would be great for them to get some extra business and they are always open to viewing new things! The GM also said that he would be willing to hook up xbox or gamecube or something just in case people would like to do something else while watching the streams! I told him that we approximately have 20 people right now interested and that we do not have a set date but that I would keep in contact with him to let him know! |

Check out a place in Richmond called "Strange Matter" they may be willing to do something like this. I know they host SSF4 tournaments and have a bunch of arcade games and stuff. They're already sort of a gamer/restaurant/bar kind of place. I've been there for SSF4 a couple times to watch some friends play. They're located on West Grace St. right by VCU/Monroe Park campus.
I know a few people in Charlottesville who would be willing to head out to Richmond for some barcraft |

Bdubs that I talked to is on Cary St. about 5 to 7 mins from VCU. |
