After watching the Spurs collapse last year I don't think they have it in them anymore.
By lock in the WC finals I meant OKC would be there, not necessarily win--sorry.Last edit: 2012-02-20 20:56:29 |

Last two and a half, actually! |

| OKC just seems so incomplete. 1 Great player, 2 very good players, and a cadre of incomplete players. Could they win, yes, but it will be a struggle. |

no. they both flourish alone (remember Stoudemire putting up MVP numbers early last year) and are good with players around them. Bosh plays smaller and is worse on defense but is a better scorer but not by too much. They are pretty equal.
and the heat are wayyy better than the knicks theres no argument there.. i was just pointing out flaws in the matchups someone else brought up |

He lives down the road from me, and comes into my restaurant every few months. I honestly hope that this has kicked him in the nuts and make him realize that he needs to try and step his game and life up. He was really nice the few times I saw him, but sometimes he says idiotic things. I hope he's gotten his stuff together. |

o.0?
Bosh is really good defensively. Last year he was ranked with Dirk at the top for PFs in iso defense. He's also one of the best help defenders around, and can switch to even contain smaller guards because he's so quick. Bosh has been great in Miami as a 3rd option.
Stoudemire is great at rotating and playing help defense some of the time. He just doesn't have good fundamentals and can't guard big guys in the post. Amar'e has been great with any player except Carmelo, That doesn't take away from the fact that he's still a damn good offensive option and you're right - he was putting up MVP type numbers at the beginning of last season.
They aren't really equal though because as good as Stoudemire is offensively, defensively he just isn't versatile enough to be in the same class as Bosh. |

| Stoudemire doesn't have a post up game? Or is it because the knicks keeps doing pick and roll and doesn't run inside out games? |

| He was never a really strong post up kind of player, but he was effective. Part of the reason is like you alluded to, he's so good in Pick N Rolls, and Pick N Pops that they just keep doing that with him and run people into the ground. |

| I used to consider amare better than bosh, but this year Bosh has bought into the Kobe system, and became a new animal while being the same beast. |

| I would prefer to think he's just rusty and a little hesitant in finishing. He's passing the ball well. |
