Welcome to the Korean StarLeague Daily! The KSL is sponsored by own3d.tv and can be viewed as an European event series that features the Korean Pro-Teams. From Monday to Thursday there will be a single player competition. Each of the 8 Pro-Teams will send out one player and they will play each other in a single-elimination tournament-style bracket. All of the games will be best of three. The winning player receives a $100 prize, with $50 going to the runner-up! Friday through Sunday there will be team-matches, which will use a Winner's League format, with the winning team taking home a prize of $200!
Today's Line-Up! Friday, December 2nd 13:00 GMT (+00:00) (Team League):
Sweet. Looking forward to the team league even more than the 1v1 competition. I hope teams send out their stars and not just their bench players, but even if they don't it will be a good chance to see some of the lesser known Koreans out there.

Wish it were a bit earlier. I do tend to stay awake until 7 or 8am EST most nights but then watching a few hours of games at that point is complete overkill. >_<

I have already mentioned this to the guy I have spoken to from the KSL, I think a lot of people want to see a ProLeague style Korean league.

Not me. Winner's league style is more exciting. I like watching potential all kills or someone going on a streak. All the NA tourneys like EG master's, gosu, etc use pro league format and I don't find it as exciting to watch. I hope the KSL doesn't get a false impression that people want to see pro league format. Of course I don't have the facts which is more popular either, but would hate for them to be persuaded just cause you tell them people want pro league, which may or may not be true. Think a poll may be needed.

Non korean teams are fairly small when you compaire them to korean teams. I wouldnt find it that much fun either to watch proleague style for thoes as i pretty much know most of the players being fielded. But korean teams are in general rather large and the system gives a chance for the lesser known players to get fielded from both teams. Pretty much why i want to see less winners league in korea as its all that have been shown so far in SC2.

All I said was
have you considered running the Team portion of the KSL broadcasts in ProLeague format, rather than Winner's League format? It would really give the KSL a more unique feel to it in Starcraft 2.
Really more of a personal opinion than enforcing strong public opinion haha.
Really looking forward to this. Love team leagues, and when it's Koreans vs. Koreans you don't know who's gonna come out on top. I'm expecting like 3 B teamers mixed in with maybe 1-2 A teamers, but honestly Startale isn't that big of a team, and Prime sends out their "B team" all the time.
