KT Rolster's 'Ultimate Weapon,' Flash, continues to hold the top KeSPA rank for 7 months in a row.
KeSPA recently announced the official December 2011 Starcraft progamer rankings.
After a long break, the SK Planet Starcraft Proleague Season 1 started, and week 1's results have been accounted for in the ranks. The 'Ultimate Weapon' continues to hold the number 1 rank for 7 consecutive months.
Most of the players only played one or two games, so there wasn't much change, and Flash handily won two games, maintaining his spot as number 1 with 1576.5 points. Hydra and Fantasy held on to their number two and three spots from last month, respectively.
Jangbi, whose gameplay remained stellar after winning the last OSL, pushed Zero down to 5th place and set a personal all-time high record after his debut in April 2006.
The results of SK Planet Starcraft Proleague Season 1 Round 1 will be reflected in the January 2012 KeSPA rankings.

Hopefully OSL comes back soon so Effort can get back to #2 or #1 .

Lol, Hiya still on the list despite retirement.... er, players in general, but Hiya in top 30 so it's pretty glaring.
Also, you put Light on Rolster.

JangBi YEAHHHH Hope he continues to move up and challenge Flash for the throne.

Ka-Pow! I wonder if he will drop from #1 this season.
Oh and I am glad to see 5 of the T8 players in the top 30.

Rank 20 @ KeSPA ranking - don't get drafted by a team.
Scumbag teams (picture of that scumbag hat here).

Grrr, Bisu is top protoss. OSL needs to start soon, it's finally his time! Jangbi at 4 seems like a joke because of his PL last season. Even Stats had a better year. Oh well, go protoss! This season we will have more top 15 slots.

X-x
I'm fine with where JangBi is atm and he did fine thus far this PL. Very dominant performance in week 1 =)
This list will change very quick

looks pretty standard, as you'd expect, aside grape, lol

All the numbers are so low. Flash is at the top but his score is only in the 1500's. I remember when he used to be in the 3000's. I hope his mechanic surgeon fixed him up good and Flash will win everything again.

I really wish that they took PL a little more into consideration for these. For the amount of wins that Bisu got during the last season you think he would get a little more recognition on the kespa rankings
I could be just a massive bisu fan but I can't really see him as being the 7th best player in the world not with those mechanics no way

Although ILs are weighed pretty heavily in Kespa rankings, there is no more MSL and the OSL has been very inconsistent (only 2 in the past year). Pretty much Kespa rankings will only be SPL. I really miss individual leagues, they were good while they lasted. I guess the peak was late 2008, 2009 with MSL, OSL, and GomTV.
I'm sure there will be an OSL eventually, but they are on a pace for less than 2 per year, and even if they return to 3 eventually it's still half of what it should be. I'd like to GSL-speed OSLs to compensate for the lack of individual tournaments.

Yeah, the new format for PL really, really hurts a lot of players as the players have mentioned plenty of times.

Definitely need new opportunities for the players to show their worth.
