This time around, the tournament will be played live, not replay based. During December players want to spend more time at home rather than events so this fits well into our tournament. The tournament will remain best of 3 until the finals which will be a best of 5. Reason for this is due to not enough hours in a day! Map pool and Brackets will be released publicly after all players have been displayed.

Player Introductions
Merz
Name: Tim Olsson
Game ID: DignitasMerz
Race: Terran
Age: 21
Nationality: Swedish
Largest Achievement: 1st Multiplay i43 August 2011
Tim 'High APM Merz' Olsson steps into the ring as the Team Dignitas representative for this invitational. Merz is a very solid Terran player with very few holes in his game, he has fantastic mechanical skills that were translated over from BroodWar which is his major strength. Winning the Multiplay i43 tournament was a fantastic break through for Merz who had gone in SC2 without a large win for a long period. Now its time to play with the big boys, lets see how well he does.
Thorzain
Name: Markus Eklöf
Game ID: MouzThorzain
Race: Terran
Age: 20
Nationality: Swedish
Largest Achievement: 1st Pokerstrategy.com TSL3 - July 2011
Thorzain, the sprinting spoon Terran! Such a methodical player, his builds are so tight, they come down to the very precise unit count. Such solid, yet slow, Terran play, really a true art form. Though people may argue he has not been preforming as well or as dominant recently due to tournament pressure I think his NASL S2 performance would have changed this a lot and I personally expect big things from the TSL champion here
Naama
Name: Santeri Lahtinen
Game ID: eSaharaNaama
Race: Terran
Age: 19
Nationality: Finland
Largest Achievement: 1st Dreamhack Winter - November 2010
Yes, its time! Naama is back! Maybe there were some special memories of former glory in Jonkoping, Dreamhack Winter 2011 that re-lit the fire inside Naama. He had such a great tournament after a really bad year, he totally dropped of the SC2 radar after his last year win at Dreamhack. A lot of fans were given hope that 'The Beast' is back, well lets find out and pit him against the best in EU!
MaNa
Name: Grzegorz Komincz
Game ID: MouzMaNa
Race: Protoss
Age: 17
Nationality: Polish
Largest Achievement: 2nd ESWC - October 2011
Forever 2nd, defines Mana quite well. How hasn't he won a championship yet? ESWC probably his best result since it picked up $12,000 but closely followed by 2nd Dreamhack Winter 2010 and 2nd Assembly Summer 2011! This guy has so much talent, remember this, he is still in high school, playing SC2 part-time, few hours a night.... Yet being so young, in Starcraft he is so old since hes been playing since 9years old!! A young prodigy, soon to get his win.
Nightend
Name: Silviu Lazar
Game ID: FnaticNightend
Race: Protoss
Age: 23
Nationality: Romania
Largest Achievement: 3rd/4th Dreamhack Winter - November 2011
Nightend a very consistent player and actually a very good one also! Is always capable of taking games, even series against the best in the world yet. He is always present at events but most recently his biggest achievement landed as he finished 3rd/4th place at Dreamhack Winter, a fantastic personal achievement. His passive, defence play while teching up to colossus has landed him great success recently in his PvT, this tournament will be tough for the Romanian but after 3rd/4th place at DHW, anything is possible.
TLO
Name: Dario Wünsch
Game ID: LiquidTLO
Race: Zerg
Age: 21
Nationality: German
Largest Achievement: 1st Poker Idol Starcraft II EU Championship - January 2011
TLO! A questionable invitee for a few, though having watched his stream recently and his tournament results starting to perk up again, I think TLO is going in as the underdog but I have high expectations. He is currently throwing a lot of hard work into improving his Zerg and just 1week ago managing to beat Nerchio 2-1 in an online tournament, he is starting to look in better shape and surely this is a step in the right direction. Will TLO break through?! That is the question and hope for a lot of fans in 2011.
Osho
Name: Dror Evron
Game ID: AcerOsho
Race: Zerg
Age: 21
Nationality: Israel
Largest Achievement: Grubby Starcraft Series 2 - Sept 2011
Osho is a long time Zerg in SC2 but really starting to make an impact in the 2nd half of 2011, making appearances through qualifications at IESF and Dreamhack. He hasn't had his full attention on SC2 until recently and now it is really starting to show. I expect his play to continue to elevate especially with being within such a strong team, Acer, Osho is known for having a beastly ZvP and has had some fantastic results recently. glhf Osho!!
Nerchio
Name: Artur Bloch
Game ID: AcerNerchio
Race: Zerg
Age: 19
Nationality: Polish
Largest Achievement: 1st Battle in Berlin - November 2011
What has Nerchio not won, wow. This guy, his achievement list for online tournaments is so long, he is just so good. He finally broke through with his first LAN win at Battle in Berlin but before this had shown amazing results beating the best regularly. Even though he lost vs Ret at DHW, he managed to beat Select/Sase and Mana convincingly beforehand... He works very hard on his game and plays so much, his mechanics and game sense are unbelievable. A true champion. Will he roll over this tournament or will somebody stand in his way?
